I get the info from the same place as Orison, I believe, so I don't mind filling in a bit!

Hi Audrina - Any news on how Flack is dealing with being hurt in the bombing? I get the feeling from a previous post he starts having problems:lol:

I haven't seen anything specific yet, but it appears that in the eigth eppy, currently untitled, that Mac has to question Flack about the possibility of drugs being taken by a cop - not Flack - during a drug bust he made awhile ago. Flack's very defensive, worried about the detective they're looking into. He has to give Mac his notes. This is the same eppy that has Mac meeting Claire's biological son. The only other stuff I saw was that Stella and Danny work together - it seems they're mixing up the pairings this year - that's a good thing, IMO.

That could be an interesting role reversal from S1 with Gavin, but please God, don't let it be that hoary old chestnut of "Flack is being paranoid and defensive because he's nursing a painkiller addiction."

I don't think so ... the story goes that the another Det other than Flack physically took the drugs - Flack was in another room. Flack really isn't being paranoid - he's upset because he doesn't want to get another Det in trouble and worries about that det's past cases getting thrown out as a result.

Aww, poor Flackie. *nuzzles him* :p

That sounds like it'll be an interesting part. ;) Don might worry about the detective, but in the end we know he'll do what's right. :) I'd hate to have to be in the position though, considering that (like audrina said) it's not just that man that could be affected, but that the cases he worked on could come into question as well. :(

Oh, and about the fact that Flack will be affected by the bombing, ka900--I think we're just speculating at this point. We haven't seen anything (I don't think) that indicates that he'll have any sort of problem. I think it's more that we want to know that he's not just hunky-dory after something major like that. ;)

Guys, please remember people can't reveal spoiler sources or too many exact details from them! While we do love spoilers, it's still fun to leave some things until the show airs.

The step son thing will probably come back at some point I'd think--otherwise why set it up? It *could* be interesting--just please no Ray Jrs!

As for Lindsay standing Danny up, I'm starting to think the writers just want us to hate her. She's shrill and unpleasant much of the time, she's more concerned about looking smart than she is getting the right suspect and now she's going to stand up a character who most people who watch the show love? Turning him down is one thing--no one should have to go out with anyone else--but standing someone up is just rude. But Lindsay is kind of rude (remember how she snatched the evidence swab away from Sid in "Dancing with the Fishes"?) so it's not like it's really out of character. *shrug* I wish the writers at least tried to make her more likable. Or, if they're not going to do that, make her a serial killer or something. That would be kind of funny.

*sneaks off to nuzzle Mac while they're busy* I get a turn later!

Who's Ray Jr? I'm not remembering the reference. I can say "no Ellies" though lol. Or, you know, a male version.

Ray Jr is from Miami. He's Horatio's nephew, Yelina's son by Ray Caine.

I have to say, my patience was a bit flagging by the end of the second season -- I was back and forth between liking Lindsay and hating her, I was getting sick of the rotating supporting cast ( what the hell happened to the ME? ), and I was seriously wondering what happened to Louie ( I'd still like answers there ), but the third season opener was great! I hope they keep their promises and do some serious back-story bulkup for Flack and Hawkes -- and PLEASE HAVE MORE ADAM ( he's my favorite ).

I don't know how I feel about the step-son thing. That's a little bit out of the blue for me, and although it's a good way to add some more depth to Mac ( although he's already pretty deep ), I feel like it's Ray Jr. all over again.

The DL dinner thing? They're stretching here, I think. Besides it being totally against her character to stand him up, when's he gonna ask her out in the first place? I have to admit, I'm slowly being won over to the DL shippers, but they need to make sure that this "relationship" outside of work happens naturally -- not just that they're all of a sudden dating ( weird ).

Okay, and maybe I just didn't skim back far enough, but I heard from another source that Stella is possibly leaving the show? In which case, I would be very, very, very upset.

Also, I'm new around here! And I have a huge thing for everyone's favorite lab tech, Adam. I think we should start an AJ thread or something...and now back to your regularly-scheduled thread.

I think that maybe lindsey stands danny up because she feels like its wrong cause they work together.. and maybe later on she realises how much she does actually like / love him
just my POV :D

So Mac's stepson stalks Stella because he sees her leaving Mac's apartment? What I want to know is - what was Stella doing in Mac's apartment (not that I have any objection to that development!) Would make more sense if the boy was stalking Peyton since the writers have just put her in Mac's life.

Does anyone know why Lindsay goes into a situation where they need an undercover situation b/c they don't have an agent to do it?

What's happening next episode?

I have to say, if they were going to properly introduce Claire Forlani's character, they should have introduced her in the previous season. It's just poor planning I think when they sit around all summer and try to decide what to do with the next season.

If you're going to lead up to someone actually being in their lives, lead up to it. Be realistic. Don't throw a love interest in there when no one's heard of her. The British doctor Jane was less of a long shot than Peyton so-and-so.

P.S. It's not that it's not a welcomed new storyline, or that it's not a great addition or she's not doing a great job. She's great, the show is great and the new storyline is awesome but c'mon, writers. A little planning....
