In regards to Calleigh wearing black, did you watch the "behind the scenes of the kiss" with Emily and Adam? When they weren't shooting the kiss scene they were both in heavy coats. Since most of the time they are in California and not Florida I'd imagine the temperature was a lot different.
There are probably warmer days when she's probably hot but I think the time of year they are filming the show, the weather is cooler. Am I wrong with this?? does anyone know when they are filming the show??

When I was in Miami in early April it was 93 degrees! If they were filming in Miami I'd feel pretty sorry for her.

I do agree that they need to get Emily/Calleigh in some color though. I was watching the season 3 finale "10-7" last night and she had on really nice light colored pants. We need to talk to someone in wardrobe LOL and get this girl something other than black!

I'm just mad because they put Calleigh in black for the gazillionth time.

GIVE THE GIRL SOME COLOR! The human eye can see MILLIONS of colors. Just choose a couple of them, wardrobe! And you don't have to go all out crazy with lime green or hot pink, just a nice shade of blue or something. Pretty much everybody looks good in blue.

Hi all,

Let me preface this with I love Emily Procter think she's beautiful and don't mean this as an insult at all.

Now with that being said maybe the color is an Emily choice. It's a slimming color and while she is by no means overweight she does look like she's more rounder than she has been in previous seasons. I just finished watching all six seasons and I noticted that she always seems to be really tiny during the first half of the season and a little bit heavier during the last half. I think she looks great either way but you can see the difference in some shots. Maybe that's why she's in all the black.

Personally, I was stunned they stuck her in a red shirt on the last episode and the color looked great even though she had on her customary black. Just a thought and I'm not insulting her at all just wanted to throw that out there as a reason for her to be in black for an entire season.:(

In season four, she had some injury or something, and she gained a few pounds, because she couldn't run and she wasn't in black all the time. However, she might be a bit selfconscious now because she's forty. Even beautiful women can be selfconscious. She has no reason for that, because she's gorgeous, but you can never know how she feels.

You could very easily be right. I've heard any number of actors and actresses complain that by the middle of the season they are so tired it's hard to keep up with their exercise routine and they start to "fill out" a little. On some it's easier to tell than others and of course, unfairly, on women it seems to be much more noticeable.

And it doesn't help that they put them in skin-tight clothing. Sometimes I don't know how they breathe!

With all the shooting they do for a TV series I can't imagine adding extra hours on top of that to keep up with a regular fitness routine. It's just not right that it does seem to show up quicker on women than on men. Also, the camera adds ten pounds to you on screen (used to do camera for public tv and learned that little tidbit) so I used to imagine just how small the women on the show really were because they still looked so tiny with the camera on them.

And it doesn't help that they put them in skin-tight clothing. Sometimes I don't know how they breathe!

 That it sooo true. She carries the little 'extra' well and I really usually only notice it on her face unless as you said they put her in something so tight that you can't help but tell. All I can say is that the women on the show are in great shape b/c there isn't a dimple in sight with all that tight stuff they put them in. :) The woman looks wonderful whether she's her normal really tiny or second half of the season 'just' tiny. After all isn't the ideal weight now a size 2 ;) (no offense to those who really are a size 2...it was a crack at Hollywood unrealistic expectations)

I don't mind the black so much for Calleigh as it's a heck of a lot more practical than the white they used to put all the characters in during the earlier seasons. I don't mind color but who in the world would wear white as a CSI when they encounter so much blood, guts, etc. I had to laugh at that becuase it's so totally Miami. White just isn't a color they should wear on the job so when they went with black for most of the season with Calleigh it actually made sense. However, they've gone a bit over board and a nice lighter shade would be really nice to see her in.

I didn't know that but it does make sense as mid season five is when you started seeing all the black with splashes of color. She was stunning before the injury and she's stunning now. She looks great in black, but it would be nice to see her in some color again.

On the subject of spoilers.
As much as I'm unthrilled by the already done Eric drama, I am anxious to see if there's any parallel with what he must do to help his Father, & what Ryan had to do to help Billy. I think I'm more anxious to see how Ryan will react to whatever it is Eric does - maybe there'll be some understanding between them after all this blows over. One can hope, I guess.

LOL! Point taken...back to the actual spoilers...agree with you on this one. It would actually be nice to see these two move past their differences once and for all. Sometimes there is no way to do that other than to walk in another person's shoes. I've always thought these two are more similar than different in a lot of ways but their personalites dictate that their responses to those things are completely different. After watching all six seasons back to back I still think that, as both of them have done some pretty questionable stuff and gotten themselves in some pretty interesting jams because of it.

I do think Ryan will respond differently in that he will be more understanding. He jumped the gun once with Eric in Season 4 (Nailed Marisol storyline and changed his tune when he found out what was really going on with Eric). Ever since then I've noticed that when Eric does something 'questionable' Ryan usually thinks about it first and then responds. 'The DeLuca Motel' comes to mind.

After Eric's reaction in WISC it will be interesting to see if they decide to turn the tables to see how Ryan responds to what Eric does for whatever reason. I'll be interested to see if Eric gets the same sympathy that Ryan did if the reasoning for his reaction is the same and Ryan goes off on him instead...

Either way it would be nice to see these two interacting as friends rather than adversaries...and yes I do think they can be friends. As you say...One can hope.

Exactly! I'm really hoping that's what TPTB are aiming for us to see - it'd definitly be a nice breaking point as far as Eric & Ryan are concerned. I don't expect best buddies as an outcome, but at least a better understanding of each other, & a slight slap in the face of reality for Eric.

I would love for there to be a parallel between the two guys, it would be an awesome way to settle things between them. No doubt in my mind, Ryan would be a little more subtle with Eric. Maybe the two will come to an understanding some day...

OMG! I keep hearing about the finale pics and I can't find them! Help! Sum1 please post the link!

They're on page 27 of this thread.

Anyway, I have to say that I'm not too thrilled with the Eric drama either but it would be nice if there was some kind of follow-up to the situation in Wolfe In Sheep's Clothing. Where Eric was sort of pissed at Wolfe because he broke rules and what-not.. Because if Eric getting involved with his father has any relation to this Russian Mob thing, then it just makes him a little hypocritical for being angry at Ryan. So, it would be kind of nice to see some kind of understanding between the two.

oooooh yeah!! :D That would be cool. Granted the situations are different, the idea is the same.....they both did/are going to break the rules and what-not. So yeah I think, especially given that we didn't see any fallout or resolution from Ryan's story it would be nice get that understanding between them and just any type of resulotion to Ryan's story would be great! ;)

Corey said in the recent interview on the main page of this site that there was no resolution in this season b/c the story wasn't about Ryan breaking the rules but instead it was meant to show how the Russians could get to one of the team at any time. My opinion on this though is be they SHOULD have the follow up this season b/c it would show how effectively the Russians have divided and hurt the team and what they do. Just showing us that the Russians could get to one of them is not enough imo...there should be something then to show us how it has overall affected the team and Ryan. Ya know showing it next season when this storyline will most likely be over once the credits roll on the premiere will be so out of place and just plain wasted. I mean guess they could show the fallout and the mess the Russians will have left in their wake but still....

I just saw the promo for next week's episode. Julia has become dangerous. Looks like she's targeting Ron and the lab as well, she's shown taking a shot at Ryan but misses and hits the glass. She's lost her mind! Can't wait, the episode looks so good!! There was also a part with Calleigh, but the scene was too fast. I only remember the part with Ryan because it was shocking to see Julia do that!

SHE TAKES A SHOT AT WHO?!

Poor Ryan. The morgue is just not the place to be for him.
