It is episode 23.Took a long time to come up with a name for that episode.

Great! More E/C drama. There's a surprise! NOT!
While this is one person's interpretation of what they saw in the pictures, it's painfully obvious that Rodriguez' return to the show means that E/C, and all the "drama" that nomance entails, will again become front and center while everyone else gets pushed to the background.
Season 8 showed signs of getting back to basics as they promised and with only a few bumps in the road this was the best season in 4 years. But it's clear that we're starting to back peddle now and season 9 will just be a rehash of season 5, 6 and 7 - E/C drama the focus and everyone else considered expendable background players.
Too bad. There's real talent being wasted here.

The photo's are subject for interpetation, it does not mean that there is going to be E/C drama. If this has been the best season in 4 years why have so many of you complained all season long about lack of screen time for Ryan and Nat, how they make Ryan look like an idiot all the time, poor writing and so on..... That doesn't sound like a good season at all. And you can't blame anything on E/C because Adam has only been in 7 episodes so far.

I'm gonna be the optimistic one this time and think the convo during those pictures is something like this:
Eric: We can't prove Wolfe didn't do it.
Calleigh: But we know he didn't! He's our friend, and we know he would NEVER do something like this.
Eric: But the evidence tells us different. It doesn't matter what we think. We have to worry about what the jury would think.

Some of the time, not all of the time,which is still bad enough,but was part of the poor writing at times.This season was one in transition because of changes.This season wasn't the greatest,but I did enjoy that there was an effort at more of a team feel and that does make it a better season.There was no them and us feel to the team. There is also (now toward the end of the season) effort for spreading out the screen time.And yes I too fear a return to a splintered team and lack of unity(again) for season 9.
Gooniegirl,I like your optmissim.
I hope that Eric doesn't need to be convinced of Ryan's innocence. I dislike that Eric can believe the worse of his team mate,and I hope to see that change.

hiphugger17 was kind enough to post the promo pics at the E/C thread @ Shipper Central. Sorry I don't know how to post pics.
I do not even trust the promos,much less the pictures.Last episode was pretty good so I hope that is an indication of things to come.Deelkolover told us that the team trusts Ryan this time and that is the kind of spoilers I believe.
Not sure why the writers do not use more Natalia and Ryan.This season that Eric was barely on was their chance to shine.Instead ,we have 2 new characters.

Oh, it will be useless drama, whether it's about thier "relationship" or the case. They're still arguing regardless (gosh they work so well together don't they ) & if TPTB really just wanted Eric to argue with someone over the case they'd find someone other than Calleigh for him to get pissy with.
