I really need to watch those again. They make me all ewey gooey inside, in a good way.

And now I am curious as to what is going on, because I don't remember if the actors were all talkative to each other between scenes or if they weren't... when I was watching them. hmmmmm indeed.

I'm pretty sure Adam said a little something(it was real quick)
Even though there wasn't a lot of chatting ,I don't think it's anything,
but I could be wrong. It's not even the end of the season, and already there is speculation.

I don't think it means anything. Why talk to someone if you can't think of anything to say to them? I can't tell you how many times me and family members sit in a room and don't say anything to each other. It doesn't mean we're mad at each other, it just means we have nothing of importance to say at that moment.

I watched the videos a few times and when they are done filming the CPR scene and Adam and Jon stand up, it looks like Adam says something to Jon and then when Jon stands in front of Adam, blocking him from view, it sounds like he says something else. Man, way to much reading into things, I think people are just looking for signs of trouble.

It's also possible that they knew they didn't have a lot of time before the next scene (or possibly a retake of that one) and they were trying to stay in character as much as possible. When a character is so different from oneself, its not always easy to go from yourself to the character in ten seconds flat... so sometimes actors force themselves to remain as much in character as possible even when they're not filming for a few minutes or whatever.

As for Togo not coming back next year, everything is possible. The whole production has become reserved...they don't want to give out too much. Maybve they've learned from their previous mistakes or, maybe, as I tend to think, things aren't going so smoothly on the set as they want us to believe :shifty:
I still think there's a possibility Togo might leave the show without anyone of us knowing anything about it ;)

As big of a fan base as Jon Togo has, it would be stupid for tptb to cut him loose. I could see them losing a significant amount of viewers if he went. I know I would be through with this show if he goes.

It made me go HMMM. I mean it's the very first time I've ever heard such a silent moment between the actors and the whole production.
I don't wanna speculate, but it seems as if the whole production of the show has become very calm...reserved. Usually this means things aren't going on so smoothly as they want us to believe. I hope I'm wrong, but this is a really bad moment ;)

It is possible things could be tense but maybe not only are they need..

But maybe also because of the intensity of the scene, it may put a damper on much talking and joking around.

I am annoyed as well that they basically spoiled the season finale, no fun at all! I am interested to see the episode where Eric investigates the lab, the betrayal that happens. It'll be interesting to see how the CSIs handle this one.

Jon is so funny in that first video. You can't see it, but if you turn up the volume you hear him hit the pole & go "oww!" Such a cute goof.

I SO agree. No to mention that we only got a small part of the scene. For all we know they could have been making plans about drinks later.

I like the idea of a serial killer in Miami.Being a HUGE criminal minds fan I would follow the show week after week to find the clues. And they can give their own Miami style if they want.

Very good point indeed.

I am also somewhat also annoyed that TPTB has spoiled the finale, however, the season didnt really do anything for me and these behind the scenes videos have gotten me excited for the end. I need hiatus to recover.

Agreed. I'd be gone too! I love Ryan. He's a very well established character. I think it would be crazy to lose him period!! And I honestly don't think it would be Jon's idea.

LOL! I noticed that. SO CUTE! That must be why everyone in the crowd started laughing. Adorable!

a repeat episode 8.10 Count Me Out
on monday 3 May airs a new episode called Meltdown.
(I really hate that I am on vacation then and I can't watch it)

I've watched the second video a couple of times, and it looked like Adam and Jon were both talking about the compressions to the unknown actor together.

I'm interested in who the unknown actor's character is now and what kind of impact he has on Eric and Ryan. Ryan seemed pretty upset for losing the guy...

Silence doesn't mean that it has to be something bad, there is such a thing as companionable silence. I mean, not every good friendship has to talk all the time for it to be good. One of my best friends and I hang out together all the time, we carpool together to and from school, and we go see movies all the time, but we don't feel the need to speak to each other every single moment. Sometimes we just stand in some place or sit some place and be silent in our own thoughts. It doesn't mean that there is tension or that we don't like each other.

And it wouldn't be the first time that there is silence on a filming set, it could be that the next scene is up quick so neither of them have time to go goof around, we don't know the full situation. And besides, since they are filming the finale, they're probably more serious than usual with the final episode in hopes of it being the best. I mean, there are many times serious work to be done, so both Jon and Adam are probably focused at that moment so that they didn't get a chance to joke around. There is a time for joking and playing games and a time to get serious and get down to work. This is probably one of them considering that it is the season finale. And it looked like toward the end that Jon and Adam are discussing and gesturing about something to each other and to that unknown actor.

I don't see any tension with the crew or the actors, they seem like they are simply hard at work and focus with their jobs.

I am excited for that finale, and I sure hope that if Miami is going with the whole "CSIs dropping like flies" type of stunt that NY pulled last season finale with that shootout at the bar, Miami better come up with a better season premiere than NY did. Because quite frankly, NY had been my favorite CSI show right up until I was so disappointed by their season premiere and that six months later storyline that the rest of the season didn't intrigue me and I jumped ship to Miami. Here is me hoping that Miami will deal with the CSIs-in-jeopardy storyline better instead of white-washing it into just another regular crime of the week drama.

I wouldn't want any of the cast to leave, and it's not the first show to carry a large ensemble cast either, they can make it work rotating cast members. They have 8 series regulars(David, Emily, Adam, Jon, Rex, Eva, Omar, and Eddie Cibrian) with one recurring ME character while NY also has 8 series regulars(Gary, Melina, Carmine, Anna, Harper, Robert, AJ, and Eddie Cahill)as well. So if NY has been able to work with that for over two seasons, I see no reason why Miami can't do the same. They can split and do multiple cases like NY used to do a lot over the years.

As for the finale, I'm hoping to see that the episode ends with just all the CSIs lying unconscious on the floor or something, maybe a camera shot of each of the main stars. One of the things that always got me when Horatio was "shot" in the season 6 finale was that while I knew he wasn't dead 'cause they wouldn't get rid of David Caruso, it still jarred me A LOT to see Horatio lying there on the ground trying to breath because he is normally such a stoic and almost invincible seeming and superman-like character, the man you can always count on to get the bad guys and be the strong foundation of the team, that when you see him fall to the ground, it's almost a surreal moment where you couldn't believe that it's happening, that it's the first time you saw Horatio fall and be hurt just like a normal person. So I hope this finale offers some of that jarring feeling!
