Spetzli in Oktober(fest) <> German thread

Re: Spetzli in Oktober(fest) <> German thread

With my Bahncard 50 one drive home cost me 10,40€ that's good cuz I travel home every weekend for get my clothes washed and so on  And the three hours sitting in the train I study, so I have more time for Talk CSI when I'm back in my students flat

I think that's a good way to spend the time. Maybe I should do the same next time I'll visit my friend. It's better than listening to music while my butt hurts more and more with every minute.
ETA: Is it still warm over there? Here it started to rain again and it's getting cooler, too. Well, as long as it doesn't start to snow again... lol

I wish it would be warm and sunny but the bad weather is now here too :( Hate weather like that... normally I would need to study but when the whole day is so ugly I just want to hang out and use my internet :) Snow would killing me but I think it's now finally over and we'll get better warmer weather :D

I know how you're feeling. Instead of studying I rather go online. Or write fics. Or do other stuff. Everything, but studying.
Yeah, I don't like this rainy, cool weather either. I also don't like it when it's extremely hot. The best weather for me is either snow (but please, only in winter, not in spring  ) or when it's just warm enough so you can go out in a t-shirt. I don't think it'll snow again, so I'm hoping for some warmth as well. :)

Re: Spetzli in Oktober(fest) <> German thread

Bad weather? Where? I still got sun and blue sky! :p

But it's very windy. But that's nothing special at a city close to the coast. ^^

Whenever there's been warnings for storm, rain and thunder and I then checked for alerts at my town there's nothing.

On my last travel home I read, or at least I trief to read, but it didn't really work out. I was just listening to music and staring out of the window. On the way from Berlin to Dortmund I even took a short nap. But I rarely take a nap because I'm always to miss my trainstation.

I also do 'stupid' things on the internet instead of studying... it's really annoying cause I really have to learn. *gah*

Re: Spetzli in Oktober(fest) <> German thread

Aww, you're living near the coast? Lucky you! ;) Around here isn't so much water. :( lol

 That's what I'm usually doing as well. I'm sitting in the train, staring out of the window all the time, listening to music until I have a headache. But what else could you do?
I think I couldn't sleep either. I once tried that in the bus at morning but I think I would also miss to get out of the bus and would ride through half of the city before I wake up again.

Yep. Around 5mins by bike and you're at the 'Bodden' beach. But that's not that great. Dirty water and small beach. The best beach is difficult to get to. You can take half the way by bike but then you have to drive on the freeway and that's way too dangerous...well..I think it is. ^^ And I have no clue when a bus is driving there. And car..see above. But it's still okay. Could be worse. Could be living near a forest with sick people living inside. (I've watched too many movies *lol*)

Yeah I think you have  I live in the middle of nowhere... here's nothing but cornfields... and in my study town is nothing going on either... but that would also be bad for me because I would learn even less for my study if that is possible :)

Cornfields?? Do you have crazy children around who swing the hook? :guffaw:
Can't help myself. I love horror movies. Seen so many... *lol*

May I ask where exactly you're studying? I always thought if there's a university there should be at least something going on. :)

Oh..and did the link work I sent you?

First of all thank you so much for all the things :) I'm so happy now :D And what's even better is that it works :guffaw: THANK YOU!!!

I study in Meißen. That's a small town 50 km away from Dresden the capitol of Saxony... Now you'll maybe think 'What they've a Uni there?' but it's true  I study some law administration management stuff and the building I study in is a 'Fachhochschule' to be correct. And I can tell you in that town is really nothing... just people who staring at you like you're some very nasty alien or something...

But at home it's even worse... I live in a village, so I should be happy to at least live in a town now :)

Re: Spetzli in Oktober(fest) <> German thread

My city has around 600,000 inhabitants, which isn't that small, but I'm living in the suburbs where it's pretty quite. We have wheat fields and forests and parks, and only half an hour and you're in the middle of the city, which is really cool. We even have a zoo here. And three driving schools. The part of the city I'm living in his so small but has three driving schools and at least six hairdressers...

Uh..then I'm happy, too now that it worked. :)

Ah..ok. Ne Fachhochschule is auch mal ganz wat andres, woll? :D

I usually think of university if someone tells me he/she is studying. So..my fault. But the FH is quite better if you just see the practise side. You get more of the hands-on training than you'll get at a university.
My town has 59 998 people (date is from 10/08) and around 12,100 students. You see stundents everywhere but still. It's not that we have such big places to go. A few clubs (I haven't been to one yet), a cinema.... hmm..nothing that's really interesting IMO. Of course the cinema is cool. It's way better than the two we've at home.

We also have a zoo, the university is spread all over town. Then we also have an observatory, groceries (so many of them! and everywhere!!) and also many hair stylists and bakeries and doctors and...

Yeah that's really cool  Now I do what I'll do this weekend... I'll watch whole season 9 of course :)

I'll drive home tomorrow and that means I'll be without internet in that time... till Monday :( I really don't know how I could live without it before I got to study in Meißen... Thank god it's not for long :)

Re: Spetzli in Oktober(fest) <> German thread

Hmm..so your parents don't have an internet connection? Oh my...I wouldn't survive my semester break at home if having no internet. :wtf:

I'm practically online 24/7 which is not really profitable. I only have a notebook but I'm not one of those students who take their notebook to the courses. Most of those were sitting in the course but playing on the internet, messaging via studivz or icq. So..what's the point in brining your notebook with you if you're not listening? Playing around is something you do best at home. Never understood those people.

And incidently my notebook is too large and too heavy to carry it around. ^^

Yeah I know what you mean... that's simply not to understand  At least when I'm in courses I'm fully in my education :) But at home... or in my students flat... well there I spend all my time with the internet... and I can tell that's fatal... I just get nothing done... hopefully I can pass my next exams anyway...

*lol* Same here! I'm trying to catch up with my english course for two weeks now but I just don't find the time (motivation) to do so. I wanted to do so many things but I didn't do anything... well.. I rewatched CSI Season 3 and 4. But that doesn't count this time. ^^

BTW: Did you join my vest!porn theme in the Greg Pic Thread? If so I've to hurry with the winner. oO

No didn't join the vest!porn theme in the Greg pic Thread... I'm more into Nick Stokes :) I don't have that much pics of Greg... but therefore about 6000 from Nick  Post often in the George/Nick pic thread which is also called The Ward (but don't ask me why... I really don't know)

I haven't gotten arround here too much because I joined only a few weeks ago... on 30th March I think... but when I'll have time and pics maybe I'll post one day there too :D
