It's nice to see Speed smile!!! He always seems so serious. When I first starting watching Miami mid series, I thought, who's the grumpy guy??? Then he started to grow on me. :p

I'm still catching up on S1 eppys. I have yet to see him laugh??? :confused:
 
:lol: I thought that too. When I first saw him, I thought "Why is he so angry? What happened?" I thought he was just angry for that one episode but oh no he stays grumpy for 2 seasons. Okay, actually he's never grumpy, he just looks grumpy. I can pick out a bunch of times where he smiles.

Welcome to the Speed thread! Glad to see another speed fan in here.

And just so you don't freak out or anything I tend to go and these little rants everyonce in awhile. So if one of my posts are to long just skip it. lol.

He smiled in tinderbox with Calleigh? Hm....I know he did when Delko was all over Connie...hmm...I just might have to go and watch that episode.

Well, I guess the other characters are used to his mannerism. In Just One Kiss, when he & Delko are sifting the beach sand & Calleigh cheerfully asks if either of them want to work the body with her. Speed snaps "we're working the crime scene!!!" :mad: I thought, geez guy, it's ok, she was just asking. But it didn't seem to phase her. :D

Also, when I first heard his "sighs", I thought he was always inconvenienced, but I think that's just how he talks. LOL!
 
I didn't think he sounded angry when he said "We're working the crime scene." But that's just me.

And when I first watched Miami I was like "good god can that man sigh anymore!" but i'm just like "Rory put down the cigarettes!!!!"
 
I think he sighs alot because he smokes. I would need to take a few breaths too. Plus when they're on site in Miami, it gets pretty humid. The poor guy must have been dying.
 
yeah, I been to Florida one summer & remembered the humidity. Come to think of it, when I smoked, I may have been dying too! Lol!

Either way, I really like his character and all his little quirks! That's what makes him Speed I guess. ;)
