that was pretty much what i thought when i watched Black and White, when he was in that shootout, i was half screaming because he got shot again, but i was half yelling, "Take that DONAHUE! That gun works!"

*joins Geni in dancing*
 
:lol: I love Black And White :lol: Even if he did get shot..HA TAKE THAT DONAHUE THE GUN WORKED! Like..6 times.. :D
 
oh, yeah! Donahue should take writing lessons from that movie:
-lots of character development
-gun that works, and he got to shoot it
-gets shot, but doesn't die

see, by those 3 criteria alone, it's already better than Donahue's writing

Hi I am back. :) I have a question about the movie Flawless.
I have the opportunity to buy it but is it good enough to buy?
I have to confess I do not like Dazed and Confused. Ducks flying debris. :lol:
Are the movies similar? Thanks for any info you can provide me with. :) I am definitely going to buy Black and White.
 
No, they are not similar at all. I didn´t really like Flawless and i fastforwarded lots of scenes but it´s definitely worth buying just to hear Pogo (Rory) sing. ROFL
 
It was actually hilarious (Rory singing) I was laughing so hard and I loved how at the counter how he said the name 'Leonard' :). Overall, it's not a..terrible movie but not that great.
 
damn, i can't get that here either...damn, i really wanna hear Rory singing

and i have to confess that i didn't really like dazed and confused either *joins loves_csi ducking from the flying debris*, but Black and White is definately worth getting!
 
I have recently visited the new A Scanner Darkly site, and I travelled around and found an interview with Rory, about a few things.

Cochrane: I came up with my character like, five minutes before i got on the elevator to go to work. I don't know how you prepare for something like this.

Cochrane: Rick's (Richard Linklater) a good guy. He lets you be creative and offers ideas. He knows exactly what he wants but he gets a bunch of good people around him so it's a collaboration

Interviewer: Did the actors make adjustments to their performances knowing the film would be animated?

Cochrane: It depends on who you ask. I tried to do more weird facial gestures. I took some liberties that i normally wouldn't. I was a little more off the wall.

'Flawless', I thought it was a pretty decent movie, I managed to catch it on tv awhile back. Not enough Rory in it for me, but then I tend to be a bit greedy about things like that. ;) Rory with a guitar is pretty darn hot, though. :D

Geni...thanks for the link to the site, they've changed it quite a bit since I was last there. :D There's also a small blurb about the movie in the latest Rolling Stone magazine too, the May 4th issue.

i cannot find a movie clip. Or do you mean the trailer? The website is a little bit confusing :confused:
 
The 'A Scanner Darkly' site is being stubborn for me. When I click on the 'enter site' link a new window opens up, and think shows up saying it's loading, and all I end up with is a black screen. :(

I may need to try it on IE instead of Firefox.

Oh...^^that reminds me: I've never mentioned this before, but I'm a huge Tomb Raider freak. I seriously love those games, lol. I was playing the newest on the other night, and Lara rides Ducati motorcycles in the game...just thought that was cool, lol. ;)
 
ooo, the Ducati pic...i love that pic
and i think it's really cool that Rory rides a Ducati aswell, and so does my uncle! :D
now i actually like listening to him talk about his bike, instead of just tuning out :p
