Speed/Rory #16: ~~"Welcome to the Big Leagues"~~

First off I would like to thank DragonflyDreamer for giving us a place to gush over Speed! I no longer feel alone!

Second, I'd really like to see Rory on Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson... that would be hilarious!

And...

Yesterday my dad and I went to Blockbuster to get a movie to watch, and I saw 'A Scanner Darkly' and flipped out. He kept asking me why in the hell I'd want to see it and I just kept pointing to Rory's name. It was pretty funny.

Cainesugar , I know just what you mean! I think I actually squealed (how embarrassing) when I saw Scanner Darkly was for rent in BB! Man, what a weird movie...
 
Welcome to the thread. OMG! LOL! when i typed that i heard it like it's said on the Company! i typed "welcome to the thread" but in my head i heard "Welcome to The Company" like it's said at the begining of every ep! :lol: wow. i'm way too obsessed! anyways enough ranting..hope you have fun here lissy0625!!

Also a question -- are we using the 'Ultimate Speedism' (or one of them, I believe they tied) for our next thread title? I know it's a bit early but it just came to me.
 
yeah it is catchy. maybe we should use that next seeing as The Company just got over. and if we use it in the future it might be a little out of date. but i guess we'll have to wait to vote.. but i think it would make a good thread title too. and i just had a great and funny idea!!!

I can't believe The Company is over already :eek: those 3 weeks have flown by. Lets hope the next 3 fly by as quick and its time for my vacation on Sept 15th :D :p

So RAYD gets its release this Friday in the US! It will be intresting to see how it fairs at the BO. A couple months back I didn't have much faith that it would perform well but after all the promotion it has had and the positive reviews I'm a little more confident.

Although 12 months ago when it was released over here it got as much publicity and advertisment as a Hollywood blockbuster would get but had a modest showing at the BO. I was havin' a look at imdb.com and it opened at the No10 slot and total gross was around £560,000 = $1,100,000. Not disaterous but not brilliant.

Top I'm glad you enjoyed the film, well I guess enjoy is kind of the wrong word but you catch my drift :p :D I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous you went along to the Q&A :p Why do I have to be a fan of American actors in American films and tv shows who live and work in America? :rolleyes: :lol: But I can't wait to see your picture :p

yea that was really quick for The Company, hopefully we get it up her in Canada soon, i tried watching it on the TNT website but its only available for the US viewers :(

oh i like the idea of using 'welcome to the company' as a thread title i hadn't even thought of that until you all said something.
the company was so good, last nights especially. i won't right up up a whole thing but i agree with everything Need4Speed said in her post. and i must say i was so shocked about weho the mole was. i literally gasped when we found out.

:lol: i'm glad you guys like my thread title idea. and i keep hearing "Welcome to The Company" over and over in my head! i can't wait till it comes out on DVD, so then i can watch the behind the scenes bits.
 
*sigh* All this talk about The Company... and I haven't been able to see it :(

But I do like the idea of using that as a thread title.
