Punting is... boating, but with a pole instead of oars. See?

He was kind of young to do that all by himself when he lived here though...

...Somehow I just can't see Rory doing that. Eh, maybe he just sat in the boat while someone else did it...Or he could have tried and failed miserably. :p

It's not exactly something your average English person does all of the time, in all honesty :D He lived here till he was what... eight? I'm thinking he had to sit there and sulk while his dad did the actual punting. He probably wanted to punt, but was too little :lol:

Rory is obviously still a bit bitter over the punting :D

Gosh, he's my hero. He just says what he thinks. I really think that's an admiral quality to have, because I dislike all those fake 'happy happy joy joy' people who aren't really...Happy. If that makes any sense.

Thanks so much for posting that interview link! I really enjoyed it. It was so great to hear his voice. When he says "I used to go punting and all that crap", I just love the way he says crap :lol: also love 'I'm an idiot, my gun jams and I get shot.' so true. Anyway, thanks again for posting that.

Welcome Kassandra! You have found the Speed haven! Like everyone has said, don't be afraid to join in the conversation, and post lovely pictures of our favorite trace guy! There can never be enough.

A side note, I'm glad that everyone had a ball listening to Rory. I found it hilairious that he did have some bitterness when talking about the punting issue. I have to admit as well, I thought it had something to do with sports played on the field. Thanks for the information! ;)

...Anni that interview was just...hilarious. It cheered me up yesterday. Maybe I should go listen to it again so it can cheer me up now. Poor Rory was tired.

Aw, thanks for the welcome! I am wicked excited to be here. I just finished watching Blood Brothers and I melted at the ending with the close up shot. Then again, I melt at any shot, haha. Again, thanks for the warm welcome and the awesome wallpaper!

I was watching Blood Brothers yesterday too! God bless A&E in all their wisdom. :)

I agree, the closeup shots at the end with Speed are just....sigh-worthy. I still don't quite understand why they focused on him watching Horatio comfort the poor Canadian family (hehe) but I'm sure it had to do with some kind of life-lesson for Speed. - Since it seems he didn't get into the job to help people, but to do the work and get the paycheck. (as mentioned in Wannabe as well)

....Unless I'm going to deep into things.
