Sid Hammerback - The coroner with the coolest glasses.

Re: Sid Hammerback.

Sid Hammerback is my hero. Well, one of them anyway. He's in the top ten. Top five, actually. I have lots of heroes, and -- well, he's just amazing. He has those "creepy moments" which, oddly enough, I don't find creepy. If I was in the CSI:NY 'verse, I'd be that weird tech who sits in the back of the trace lab chewing her hair but takes the initiative to run weird tests on things and break the case. I'd like talking with Hammerback; we'd be friends. Hawkes would avoid me like the plague.

I watched "Stealing Home" today. I couldn't stop laughing when Sid talked about his experience with two women!!!

Probably my favorite scene from that episode, besides the scene where Lindsay is processing the body of Sarah Butler and Bird York's song "In the Deep" is playing. I actually wrote a Lindsay/Hammerback fic based on that song. Um, crack!pairing what?

Re: Sid Hammerback.

No, really?
Mmm, Sid with Lindsay... yeah, it works! He gives her always his best smile

Heh. And here I thought I was the only one who actually considered that a viable pairing. Yeah, Sid's a bit creepy, but he's also a really sweet guy. ;)

Those glasses are the first thing that really stood out about Hammerback's character, I think. Then came the creepy and the flirting-with-Stella. I hope they keep Hammerback around for a long time, he's awesome. :D

Re: Sid Hammerback.

I LOVE his glasses. They were so cool. I was like, "DAD! DAD! Can I get those-- the ones Sid has?" and he looked at me and was like:
"You don't wear glasses."

Still, I can't get over how cool it is!

I thought in Not What it Seems when Sid tells Stella that his daughter looks like the dead "Holly", I felt so bad for him. Maybe we get to follow-up...? Or maybe not, since he's a regular. I hope so though. Either way, I liked how they slipped that it subtly.

Re: Sid Hammerback.

thanks for the glasses link!!!And that picture is nice!

^I haven't watch that episode yet,but it would be good if-maybe-we have a story on that! :)
