"Secrets and Flies" Discussion **Beware Spoilers**

Why does age matter anyways? Greggo loves older woman, he's been in love with Sara for so many years. He loves older men too..he's been in love with Nick for so many years. Well, let's not go thre shall we? Greggo is just so...Greggo..

Why do some women go to such lengths to have a child? Hmmm..because society has conditioned women to think that we are not complete without one. Although I don't think it's as bad as it used to be.

Octopus urban myth..well there was this story going around about sticking kittens in jars and such. So there's a lot of urban myths like the scuba diver in the tree that Nick told Catherine about in season two. There are a lot of websites online that debunk urban myths.

I just have to point out that according to that info she was in the special "Saved by the Bell" episode where Zack and Kelly got married. Shout out to all my fellow children of the late 80s and 90s! :) [/b]

SbtB! I loved that show! I even watched the lame spin-offs  The wedding episode was kinda lame too but you can't not watch it - Zack and Kelly, you simply have to see them get married :D

Back OT:

Age ain't nothin' but a number :) He's flirted w/ Cath and Sara since Season 1, so it shouldnt matter how old the new lab tech is...

He loves older men too..he's been in love with Nick for so many years. Well, let's not go thre shall we? Greggo is just so...Greggo..

LOL, who isn't in love w/ Nick.

As long as the new lab tech isn't old enough to be his mom or grandma then it doesn't matter. In your teens and 20s, age differences make a bigger difference than after you hit 30. Unless we're talking about someone like Anna Nicole Smith and her 90+yr old hubby.

Re: Going to such lengths, Some women discover they can not have children (due to a number of factors).

Re: Techinqually a virgin, this could actually not be a phrase out of turn, a woman who was a virgin but was raped, would techniqually still be a virgin, because that was something that was taken from her.
Therefore some would say she is still a virgin in a sense that she never gave freely up her virginity.

Even if she was raped, the child would still biologically be hers, right?

And the doctor would be able to prove that she was still a virgin, consent or no consent...Tricky.

Yes the child would still be hers in that case because it would be impossible for anyone else to be the mother. And if she was raped, most if not all doctors would agree that she was no longer a virgin.

Meet Wendy Simms (aka Liz Vassey) the new DNA lab tech- the one who thinks Greg likes her... whether he does or not we'll soon find out. More info here.

She looks a little older than I expected...

According to the info on the link, she's only 3 years older than ES/Greg. Not sure if he's going to fall for her, although ES said he hoped his character would have a romance this season. And Warrick acquired a wife from just a quick statement in "Grave Danger".

This ep sounds good. I hope Greg gets a good scene or two!

But would the CSIs make that distinction? Sara might, but I don't think the others would...that is assuming they investigate her past enough to learn that her ONLY sexual expeirence was a rape...and that is not something I could see them doing, unless there was some relvence to the case. I am not saying they wouldn't care that she was the victim of a crime, and would be looking for evidence of who commited set crime, but from them her sexual history would be irrelvent to the case... espically if she did kill herself. If she was murder victim, her sexual history might be worth looking at...looking for old boyfriends to see who might have killed her.

Most likely the "she was still a virgin" finding would come from Doc Robbins, who would not be interested such a distinction. To him she was a virgin or she wasn't. He would looking at the physical and medical evidince...

When I said that 'she looked older' I meant that from what I had read in the initial spoilers she sounded young and giddy. There is nothing wrong with him liking an older woman, hey I ship him with Sara...

Yes it would. ;)

While that is true, some doctors called it virginity by proxy, seeing as she did not freely give consent to have sex, in certain contexts and way she would be considered a virgin, while in medical terms some would say once its been breeched you no longer are a virgin.

Course that is if she were raped, something we don't know.
