Season 9 *Spoiler* Picture Thread

Hey all, iv been lurking here for a long time but thought id speak, or rather write for once.

I am a big gs shipper, but i love LH and if anyone has more chemistry than sara and grissom its lh and grissom. i love that pic where he is leaning against the door jamb, they look so relaxed together. I think maybe sara leaves him in the next ep and we see griss opening up about the whole thing and going to the one person who doesnt judge him, which is of course LH. they have always had an honest relationship and he always seems to be different with her, like he is comfortable, so I am really looking forward to it, as when tlkin to her we may learn more about the whole gs situation and how he is now warrick is gone. I dont see this as a threat to the gs relationship as i dont think the writers would do that after alll this time but its great that we are getting to see LH and griss together again before they leave as i must admit they look mighty hot together!!

Really nice pictures from that episode actually, i'm loving how soft Grissom's eyes are on her, how they're glazed over a little...we got some real tention there. :thumbsup: sorry GSR fans! ahah.
 
Ok, I normally lurk but I decided to post today. I'm a GSR shipper but I actually enjoy the interaction that Grissom and Lady Heather have. They have a relationship unlike any other on the show and I think it fits in perfectly with the style of CSI. I like the fact that she has been in multiple episodes...continuity, which we know already CSI doesn't do much of so its good to see how her character has developed over the years. It does seem right to me that Grissom be the one to go and see her for advice on the case as its a profession she obvioulsy knows a lot about and plus they are friends as Grissom has once said so why can't he not visit his friend? I would love to see LH interact more with the other characters but to be honest I don't think we are going to get it. As it is Petersen's last season it makes sense to have a LH ep to finish their story arc. All the times that Grissom has been there for LH maybe she's returning the favour...who knows?? Suppose we'll find out soon though.

Going off topic for a second as I was asked to clairfy the actor/actress vs Character physical appearance and any possible rules regarding it. I also posted this in the Lab.

True enough one has the right to their opinion and others to disagree, but here is something to remember when making statements regarding the physical appearance of a character, that character is attached to the actor/actress portraying them, therefore we discourage bashing/attacking.
If you say something like "I don't think she/he is attractive" is fine, even to a point why you don't such as "I don't like her/his features because the makeup over inhances them" that is fine and that is an opinion. But to make a statement regarding physical appearance (ie lips to big, nose to big, etc) without any back up as to why you believe this, looks like one is trying to just be mean, and there are rules for this.

Now what rules might come into play here, I said earlier (on the previous page) that I didn't want to cite the rules as they should be known but a couple folks got a hold of me for some new folks who don't know what this would come under. Rules of the Board link, it can come under a couple, see "Show Criticism" (just sub the name they have for the name of actor/character). Now depending on how far it goes it could fall under the "Trolling" which one is just trying to get a rise out of others. Does this mean one can not give an opinion, no but it means that we all need to remember what I said in the previous post and what I said in the Italics above.

I am going to leave it at that and let this go back on topic. Thank you.
 
Batty, I love the pics you added. The second one in particular is stunning ... Grissom looks like he is crying or just about to. Man, those eyes are killing me. And LH looks so compassionate. I'm really excited about her being in an epi where she's not a suspect or a victim. I just watched SoLV the other day and that original character - so self-assured, bright, articulate - was so compelling to me. Obviously she's been through some bad stuff, and in TGTBATD she was still so broken. I'm happy to see her looking strong again ... I hope Grissom comes out the other side of his crisis as well as she seems to have weathered hers.

And I agree with the comments people have made about LH in terms of her being a sounding board for Grissom. In addition to giving her story a more upbeat ending, I think it will serve to give us insight into Grissom's thoughts that we just wouldn't get any other way.

Vixster and Aimee, maybe we can form a gsr subgroup of people who like LH ;)

Now that I think about it, I'd really like to see her interact with Greg, helping him with his next book. I bet she could give him all kinds of material for a new one. There's no telling who all she's had as clients. :lol:

Me too. I'd take any other ship interactions at this point to focus on for a change. ;) They'll always have a bond where he tells her things he really wouldn't tell anyone else. We get more of glimpse of who he is in those scenes, so I always enjoy them.
 
And she's one hell of an interesting character. I love it when she's on! One of my favorite scenes is with her and Cath from "Slaves of Las Vegas". It's nice to see a take-charge, kickass woman!

I wonder if she's still a dominatrix now or if she gave that up to be around her granddaughter? Can't wait for this episode! :)
 
I'd say she gave it up, after-all she did say she sold her business in her last appearance. But since she has the experience of a dominatrix that is why Grissom is calling on her for help. IMO
 
I don't know about those pictures. Personally, I think they are going upstairs to her domain to play 'Battle Ship' or something. They've got that look about them!

Despite not being a GSR shipper, I think that would be really cool, Ali. :)

Didn't one of the producers (I think it was Rambo) say this is going to be the most provocative LH episode ever? I wonder what kind of provocative he was talking about, and exactly how provocative it is going to be.
