Okay after looking at the new promo pics for Hog Heaven I now feel one scene in the promo for Gone Dead Train is in the wrong place,I know there are several but on into the promo it shows Nick in a white shirt saying something like I've seen people die of all sorts of things....He is talking to someone, apparently a woman. Then I saw the promo pics where he is wearing the same shirt again with vest, talking to Ray who is on a motorcycle, then another scene where a truck explodes (Greg and Nick witness the explosion), I zoomed it and it looks as if there is someone inside the truck, burning alive. So I wonder if Greg and Nick might need a little counseling after that ...It just appears that it is a possibility but not a fact. Just thinking. Maybe it is just my inner self wanting more if those two men are working together, which I am so excited for at this moment.

From TV Guide, about the finale:

Det. Ray Langston (Laurence Fishburne) has to use deadly force for the first time in his CSI career while investigating a series of murders tied to a scam involving poker chips from a dearly departed casino. Lost's Cynthia Watros and Jericho's Gerald McRaney guest star. Wallace Langham (Hodges) promises "no major changes to the team" — a relief to fans still grieving the loss of Grissom. And after two season-ending cliff-hangers in a row, fans won't have to bite their nails all summer: "It actually is self-contained," Langham adds, "a really good standalone episode."
More info on season finale's here: TV Guide

I hope Gerald McRaney and Marg get some screentime together because they starred together in Blind Vengeance. She was his love interest ;)

And it doesn't sound like this will be an only Ray episode. I actually think it will be interesting to see a CSI dealing with using deadly force for the first time. I assume it will be with his gun, and I think (correct me if I'm wrong) his will be the first time we see a CSI shoot someone and have them die for the first time in their career.

Catherine actually shot Syd Booth Goggle in Season 1, "The Strip Strangler". I guess it was never clear if it was the first time in her career or if it was intended to be deadly force, but she did shoot him several times.

Don't forget Greg used deadly force when he hit Demetrius James and killed him with his truck ,SUV, whatever it is called. We've been there done that!

That is very true! We cannot forget poor Greg, its bad enough that the writers do.

Anyway Wally L says "No major changes to the team" - that still does not completely relax me. Maybe there will be minor changes? I'd rather have NO changes.

Well at least there are no 'major' changes.

Just because Nick and Greg are shown in pictures together, doesn't mean they work the case together, maybe just this one scene.

That is true, but we get at least one scene. And that is fine with me because I think Nick and Greg are a great team and I just love seeing them work together even if its for a short time.

I am thinking the changes will consist of nothing more than adding Wendy as a CSI. There was talk of that happening. I'm still hoping it does cause they're still one CSI short and that's why the labrats have been having to pick up the slack.

I don't think they are short at all. CSI began with 5 CSI's up until season 5. I personally would prefer they stick with that. But that's my opinion.

The discussion thread for (#922) "The Gone Dead Train" is now up all discussion for this ep should be taken/done in that thread, as this is for future episodes. :) Thank you.

For anyone that's interested, Cynthia Watros and Mark Pellegrino both have a Lost connection--Cynthia appeared in Season 2 and Mark will be playing a major character in the season finale this season.

I'm definitely hoping for a Marg/Gerald reunion in this one.
I know I'm going to be bummed that there's a casino themed episode, but no Sam Braun this time around!

and YAY! for more Conrad Ecklie. Yes, I've missed the guy lately!

I'm still worried that this might be another Mascara type episode where it is pretty much all Ray all the time. I really hope I am wrong.
