I'm still worried that this might be another Mascara type episode where it is pretty much all Ray all the time. I really hope I am wrong.

Well we all hope it won't be something like that... *crosses fingers* I just couldn't stand another Mascara...

I just got my tv guide and there's a bit about the finale in it. It says that it has a season-ending shocker involving Langston's past that might upset the dynamic of the solidified team. Shankar said, "We have a very intense ending--- you will never see it coming. It will shake Langston up very profoundly. And it's definitely going to leave you wondering what's going to happen the moment after."

Well at least Mandy's in it.

Well, after reading what'll happen in the season finale I think that's the most positive thing for us :D

I just don't want another Mascara revisited...I want something nail biting involving our team. They could have done so many exciting things with a season finale,I hope they stay true to how the episodes have been going the past two epis...even time for all characters.

Just looked at the promo photos...uh oh...it does have a Mascara feel about it doesn't it?

Here's the entire article from the TV Guide on the finale, sounds riveting and intense:eek:

After Warrick's death and Grissom's departure, CSI has had to reshape itself this season with Laurence Fishburne's arrival as professor-turned-investigator Ray Langston. And the final episodes of the season get us a little closer to learning more about the latest addition to the team. "He's got a great relationship with Dr. Robbins in a way that even Grissom didn't have", says exec. producer Naren Shankar. "It's so charming in the May 7 episode. Langston and Robbins are going to have a coronor-driven mystery, and the two of them are going to road trip it" But ultimately, after investigating some obscure offenders this season [Mexican wrestlers, sci-fi geeks and killer turtles] the CSI team is back to dealing with good-old fashioned greed in the May 14 finale. "We wanted to get back to a Las Vegas-focused episode], says Shankar, adding that the mystery centers on a hidden stash of casino chips, "it all revloves around money" People who have none and people who want some and feel like they've struck gold" But even though this episode has the now solidified team working togehter to solve the case, a season-ending shocker involving Langston's past might upset the dynamic, we have a very intense ending--you will never see it coming", promises Shankar. 'It will shake [Langston] up very profoundly. And it's defintely going to leave you wondering what's going to happen the moment after"

Well more of Langston, I can't wait to see it :shifty:
The best thing about him being in the show is the fact that Doc Robbins gets more screen time... but the rest... :scream:

It's weird that they have May 7 has the coroner-driven story. Because tomorrow, "The Gone Dead Train" will air and that is supposed to focus on Robbins, and deal with the coroner storyline.

While on May 7, "Hog Heaven" will air, and that story focuses on Brass.

This was supposed to be Nick's storyline!!!!:brickwall::brickwall::brickwall:

Yeah it was :brickwall::brickwall::brickwall: Do they really not realize that they're about to bury the show with stuff like that???

Man, I get really angry when I think about all the things Nick could've got if Langston wouldn't be there :scream: :scream: :scream:

But even though this episode has the now solidified team working together to solve the case

This part sounds promising, maybe the whole team will be involved but...we'll see.

the comment from Wally about "no major cast changes" has me curious though. If the "minor" change isn't adding Wendy as a CSI then what could it be?

Are you referring to the "Stokes on Duty" title? That title came out with a bunch of other titles, that I believe turned out to be false--at least it sure seemed to be. The last five episodes that had titles, such as "LVPD", "It's a Tough Job, But Catherine's Gotta Do It" and "The Case of the Killer Clam" all were changed and none of the titles had nothing to do with the story lines that came to fruition.

Thanks for posting this Desertwind!

Now see they said the season finale was going to be a self-contained episode, but this statement makes is sound like there will be a cliff hanger, or at least, unanswered questions.

I hope I'm wrong, but I really don't care to wonder what's going to happen all summer long.
