Season 9 Ratings Thread

Here are the final numbers for Sunday's episode...Match Made In Hell brought 10.923 million viewers and a 2.2 in the 18/49 rating.

Wow looks like Miami should survive the season. I think my favorite one NY will bite the dust. But I will watch Miami should NY die :(

Aww! Who knows, Maybe they will renew them both. I sure hope so, I don't want to see any of the CSI shows go anywhere... but naturally, Miami is my fav, but I love the other two A LOT. NY doesn't deserve to be canceled.... period!

They seem to be trying on different timeslots for different shows on CBS right now, and well, Sunday 8pm works a lot better than 10pm-but-sometimes-not. (for me, anyway =/ ). Maybe they'll take the hint from last night's ratings?

CBS will have both the Steelers/Ravens and Pats/Jets games @ 4:30 ET next Saturday 1-15 & Sunday 1-16. Average game is 3 hours, but both will be heavily watched on the East Coast.

They will also have the AFC Championship game on 1-23 @ 6:30 ET, which will almost assuredly bump later programming. That will be the last CBS football game of the year--the Super Bowl is on Fox.

CBS Press Release for F-T-F:

CSI: MIAMI was first in households (7.4/11) and viewers (11.99m); it was second in adults 25-54 (3.5/08). Compared to last week's broadcast, CSI: MIAMI was up +10% in households (from 6.7/10), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 3.1/07), +14% in adults 18-49 (2.5/06 from 2.2/06) and added +1.07m viewers (from 10.92m, +10%)

For those interested, CSIM is not scheduled for Jan. 23. CBS is putting H5O in the 10 p.m. slot that night immediately after the playoff game. It is unclear to me if it is a repeat or not because the episode name doesn't appear in the list of past episodes. That would be an interesting development if they ran a new episode of H5O in the Sunday 10 p.m. slot.

Oh, Theresa, you are so right..... It's very early speculation, but perhaps they're considering a move back to Monday's for Miami. Who knows with CBS... but very interesting indeed if they do air a new H50 in that time slot.

Just confirmed that H5O on Sunday night will be a new episode. It is the only show scheduled after the playoff game. I am sure it is to boost their ratings but it will be interesting to see how well it does at 10 p.m. Maybe it won't say anything because there won't be a competing football on NBC to deal with.
