I'm very glad to hear that Sofia's back, at least for now.

So what does the fact that Nick and Warrick are working together mean for our theory on the whole team spilt? Is Nick on swing shift too?

You're welcome, I'm pretty sure they are working together in ep 803 as well. Unless that changes.

It's Catherine.

More info on 804 and it has a very strange title:
8x04 The Case of the Cross Dressing Carp (I kid you not)

Grissom studies a dead carp that was found at the scrime scene. The victim is a man found dead in a reservoir. I thought it was just Nick & Warrick (that's all I saw at first) but it turns out that everyone is working it (except Sara & Vivian)

I agree....great to hear that Warrick and Nick will be partnering up to fight crime...lol....and that we will actually get to see Warrick! Woo! I am beginning to think that we will be seeing more of him in the first several episodes then we did all last season.

And all I can say about Hodges hovering over Grissoms' shoulder is...TYPICAL!! LOL...that's my guy! :lol:

More info on #804.

Catherine appears to be working on a case where skeletal remains are found at the building site where the Rampart Casino used to be (which was imploded at the beginning of last season). Catherine's Mother also appears in this episode, she and Greg have an interesting exchange. eta: Catherine is also working on the other case involving the dead guy at the reservoir...

There could be some good Greg humour in this episode, I hope anyway. As always, spoilers are subject to change. But it looks like an interesting episode.

I'm wondering if, because of Catherine's connection with the Rampart etc. she doesn't work on that case for long. It seems like Greg is possibly working that case, no mention of Sara or Veronica though.

Beat me to it. I was just coming to post that. :lol: For 4 episodes I can handle it. I just wonder who is going to be on the short end on screen time while she's there.

I found this over on YTDAW. It's from TV Guide's sneak peek. I think they said it was out this week.

Oh thank god! I was reading it saw "Guest stars" and thought "She's not staying!!! YES!!".

Oh god, you have no idea how happy this makes me.

Well I have it all typed anyway. So if anyone's having trouble reading it I guess just PM me and I'll send it over. I realized that it was really hard to see once I went back to try to look it over again.

I feel like I need an Advent Calendar leading up to the day the season starts. I'm having trouble waiting.

Okay looking at that picture you can tell that Sara's not under the car anymore at that point. The car is already on a tow-truck type lift. Sara wouldn't be under there if they were using that, even as a body. Since this is the case I'm assuming they'd already found and transported her and Grissom and Catherine had returned to the scene to examine evidence.

The fact that Grissom is there and not at the hospital implies one of two things. Either she's dead and there's no point in being by her bedside. Or that she's alive and probably not in critical condition. Maybe she's in the ambulance at that point but still there and Grissom's approaching it to go along with her to the hospital, but I don't think they (Grissom and Catherine) would be standing like they're looking out into the distance. I think at that moment he'd spotted something he didn't notice before.

Grissom looks okay though... and he's there. So I'm taking that to mean her situation is in absolutes. Either she's absolutely okay or she's absolutely dead. (I'm hoping that the fact he's okay looking means that she's the former.)

Glad to hear Veronica.. er Vivian (whatever her name is) will only be around for a couple of episodes. I love the current cast and personally don't want anyone new to be added. If the rumors are true about Sofia coming back for season 8, I will be happy, as I like her. I also hope that there is more screentime for Warrick too.
