At the very least it would be interesting to see her going home after a stressful day and just crying all the stress out or maybe punching a punching bag to get out the stress... just something so that it doesn't appear that it all just rolls right off of her.

So now we finally have real confirmation that Jake and Ryan are both helping H stage his death, which I was sure of from the beginning (about Ryan) and I had a feeling that Jake would be involved as well because he's good at UC.

As far as the part about Jake and Calleigh, they are just guessing about that. It didn't sound like they knew for sure... so, I'm still holding out hope that Jake will be in more than one ep cause he's such a great character it would be a shame to lose him.

WOW! This is a great birthday present! Today's my birthday and when I read these spoilers I got so excited! It will be interesting to see Jake and Ryan working together to help Horatio. I hope he ends things with Calleigh. It doesn't seem like they are even into each other anymore. Anyway, I can't wait to see how this turns out!

Oh yay! Now we know that Ryan isn't the bad guy. And Jake isn't too. Let's hope for some resolution between Jake and Calleigh.

Yes, those two things were what I wanted to know the most (besides the huge one, is H really shot, or was it staged)! Especially for Ryan, but Jake too. I didn't want him going bad either.

I think the season premiere is going to be pretty interesting. *counts days until September 22nd*

Now I'm really really confused. The other spoilers said H was really shot. So how is the shooting staged? Anyone have any info?

Staged could mean he planned it with the help of Ryan and Jake but things didn't quite go according to plan. Or he took the opportunity to play dead.

It could be possible for the shooting to be staged (planned) and for H to get shot for real. Perhaps he didn't intend to get shot but did. Like maybe he wanted blnks but someone switched the bullets. Or maybe he didn't plan to get shot at the airstrip but was so he took the opportunity to stage (fake) his death. Many possibilites.

What's interesting to see is how the rest of the team reacts to his shooting/death, then finding out it's fake.

^ I'm really excited for that. Seeing how the team takes their "leader" being shot (they'll think it's real won't they?) and how Ryan and Jake act like they don't know about it.

But now it's like, is H shot for real or not? Like Hrockz said, maybe it was supposed to be faked, but happened for real? Or maybe one of the spoilers is just wrong. :S

Oh, Calleigh. All these accidents can't be good for her insurance rates, I'm sure.

I don't know if the car accident would crack her -- that's a relatively common real-life occurrence that (assuming its not a major crash) a lot of people tend to walk away from with a minor injury and a major irritation. Now if she actually got shot, maybe that'd push her toward breaking point.

Could do without Julia and Ron, but I do like the interaction between H and Kyle. One of these days that kid needs to wise up and see who actually has his best interest in mind -- his FATHER.

And I, too, am loving the episode titles.

Actually, I'm surprised all the CSI's don't get in car wrecks as often as they all drive around town at all hours solving crimes. Didn't the episode that introduced Julia mention Alexx wasn't there to deal with dead Bill Winston cause she'd been in a fender bender. Miami has lots of accidents. Calleigh doesn't always drive a hummer like H does so her chance of getting hit and hurt is probably higher...
Am loving the episode titles as well-hope the writing doesn't disappoint either. Wondering if there will be any exotic location shots ala Brazil. And locations of murders/crimes- still wealthy people or if they will involve regular middle class citizens.
Can't wait for more Daddy-H material written in-it's an evolving relationship but it's been several months so H and Kyle should be closer by now. Go fishing or something-oh, I know, H can take Kyle to the shooting range for some anger management therapy.

"Surrogate" I believe was a fake title put on the Wikipedia. I don't think it's an actual title as of yet. :)

Thank you...I noticed in the spoiler at TVGuide said this is the one that introduced the new ME as well.:)

It could be possible that H did stage his death by really being shot. He could have just taken his chances & let Ron target him; H takes the bullet on purpose so that the team can further investigate & really nail him this time.
It may not have been so much about Horatio faking his death so he could go after him, but more about making it possible for Ron to commit another murder (H knowing that Ron would take the bait), & get him that way.
That would explain the look on Ryan's face at the end of the finale. Maybe it was part of the plan for Horatio to be shot & Ryan knew "it's done" meant Horatio took the bullet.

There's still the issue of the man going into the plane & locking the door. He could be some sort of docter put there to make sure H doesn't die, or possibly he's there to be a witness.

 I could so see this.

I thought of that. Taking the bullet would make absolutely certain that Ron would get arrested. All Horatio would have to do is point to Ron as the shooter, and have the team prove that he didn't shoot himself. Come to think of it, perhaps that's why he was shot from long distance. The question is, would a man really risk death to put away a criminal? I would say yes. Horatio obviously loves his son, and I think he would take that chance to protect him. Didn't someone in "Going Ballistics" ask Horatio if he would "kill for his family?" If he would kill, I'm pretty sure he would take a bullet.

There's one other thing I thought of. I don't know if any of you watched Alias when it was on, but I was huge fan. There was an episode where one of the main characters has been sentenced to death by lethal injection. Before the injection another character switches out the lethal stuff and replaces it with this stuff that "feigns death." His body is slowed down so much that everyone thinks he has died. But he wakes up several hours later. Maybe H is given this stuff after he is shot? It's a long shot, I know. But hey, Miami is known for stretching the boundaries of believability.
