I personally think it will affect the team when something happens to her. That is my theory. As far as when Nick was buried alive...heck yeah that affected them all. Did we see the same episode? Well it was apparent to me that they were all affected differently. The most obvious one was Catherine, she did a lot to help find him. Now did they continue on with it...NO.

Did you ask if I think they will carry on over Sara? If she is alive I hope not, but then again Sara's personality is one to create drama unlike NIck. If she dies, I think it will be continued on.

Do I think this finale sounds good? Yeah, but only if I was reading it in a fanfic.
 
I think it will affect everyone when something happens to Sara. If she lives or dies.. either way.
I mean, the whole Grissom-Sara thing, it will sure affect Grissom. And Greg.. and if they are affected, the others will be too.
Maybe not Ecklie, but the guy has no emotions after all so no surprise there
 
It has worried me all season that the reason they finally revealed GSR was because they knew Jorja was leaving and it would create a huge climax.
If they kill her off, I will be very sad. She's my fave.

It affected them for that one episode, why should Sara's fate affect the entire S8 like said? Does that even make sense?

From what I've read this finale will be so cluttered it won't make any sense at all. The worst fanfic ever and I'm letting this one slip.
 
S_Bright seeing as you dislike this season so much, and all this stuff; why not post about it here. There is a special thread to rant and rave about it.

I don't think they will go on about Sara through the entire 8th season. They better not! That would majorly bite. Heck all the crap that happened to Catherine at the beginning of the 7th season(near rape experience, daughter kidnapped, and her father fatally shot in front of her), and what did we get after that? Nothing...I mere mention from Brass asking her if she was okay to be back considering that one of the crimes took place in one of the late Sam Braun hotels. A few mentionings of Sam periodically and that was it. Nothing about how lindsey was coping or how Catherine was handling things.

It seems that is the way CSI goes about things. I'm not saying I think the team will dwell on this...I think for the episodes that involve sara's attack they will be affected.

As far as a fanfic...it would be a good one, because everything would be written out appropriately and not pushed into two episodes. :D

I know there wasn't much continuty concerning Nick but back then the writers didn't know what the word meant, this season has been different, I except more remorse for Sara wheather she lives or dies.
 
I've enjoyed the season so far aswell....a different style to the show, and I like it. Instead of the completed cases in almost all eppys, this season is an on going style cliffhanger...at times, annoyed me, but still I like it.

I hope that nothing drastic happens to Sara, or for any of the cast members for that matter...but I am sure, whatever happens, it's gonna make season 8 one hell of a good season. (MY OPINION ONLY)

Although, I am a little confused...I am hearing another possiblilty now, since LabRats...lol...and it's leaving me more confused and uneasy then before.....I could just be reading more into it, but still...I am still confused!!

Maybe I should just stop thinking and reading to much...lmao :lol:
 
I read a spoiler on another site, and I know thay Spoiler Boxes really don't need to be used on this thread, but due to what it gives away, I don't want to ruin the ending for everyone, so I'll put it in a box and if you want to know, you can read it :). It may not be completly true, I have never visited this site before.

Okay. It is not Paul Milanders son, nor is it any CSI it is Natalie! She is the adopted daughter of Ernie Dell (he killed himself), she has this freakish thing about bleach (she punished every victim because of an incident she witnessed concerning bleach and the Dad knew about her phobia but didn't understand it)...he knew she was murdering those people and covered up for her when he confessed then killed himself. Now she has been stalking and planning the death of Sarah for some time, Sarah is the intended next victim. She ambushes and kidnaps Sarah. Grissom realizes after it's too late that it's Natalie and at the station even after asking about Sarah and admitting he loves her she refuses to tell the whereabouts of Sarah. She hides a blade (from a cutter) under her tongue and when she is done talking reaches for it and stabs Grissom in the neck then runs out the door before anyone can stop her!!!! Gil is bleeding so badly, and Brass is trying to stop it, everyone is in chaos. Living Doll will end off with Grissom bleeding uncontrollably then jumps to where Sarah is in the middle of the desert trapped under a wrecked mustang and you can't tell if she is dead or not!!! And we won't know her or Gil's fate until season 8!!!!!!!!!!

Now like I said, this was on a spoiler site that I have never visited before but their information read like a script. I don't know if any of its true.

With the spoilers I've been reading, one quote always comes to mind...

SARA: You know, by the time you figure it out, you really could be too late.

I hope not, Sara and Grissom are two of my favorite characters, well after Greg and Nick, that is :)
 
The main objection I would have to the death of Sara is how it reflects on TPTB and their treatment of relationships. For a long time now GSR fans have been looking for Grissom and Sara to get together, and got their wish at the end of season 6. And now, come the finale of season 7, it looks like one character may be killed - though we won't know for sure til season 8 by the looks of it.

Now, think about it. If they are doing this to GSR, one of the most popular pairings within the fandom, do the rest of us really want to see our favourite pairings? I mean, imagine if the YoBling! fans finally see Warrick and Catherine together. They'd be living in utter terror that it means that one of them would probably meet a bitter and disturbing end. Most likely Catherine, given the angst placed upon her this season. And what about The Love fans. I know that as much as I want to see Nick and Greg hook up, if they did it would almost definitely mean we're going to lose one of them.

In summary, I do not want Sara to die. I don't like her that much, but I do not want her to die. If she'd been in a relatiionship with Grissom for the last four or five seasons it wouldn't matter so much, but it does make me wonder if they only reason they put them together was for this season finale.

Besides, the whole killing off characters to end a relationship and/or season, possibly because the actor/actress is leaving the show is just so cliché these days.
 
The answer whether Grissom will survive is simple, is Bill coming back next season? I don't think Grissom will pull a Doctor Who and switch bodies.
 
Uhhh...sorry..but I don't find GSR one of the MOST POPULAR couples! I'm not against it persay, but it wasn't a great move by the writers. This season of GSR romance has sort of sucked.
