Season 7 Ratings

I like Flashpoint. If that happens, I might have a 3-hour date with... CBS every Friday night! Sweet! :D

Good news from TVbythenumbers

7.07 'Hide Sight'
CBS won the night with adults 18-49 and total viewers. Medium was up a tenth from last week to a 1.5 rating and CSI: NY jumped 0.2 to hit a 2.0 rating (and 10.44 million viewers). Blue Bloods dropped a tenth to a 1.7 rating.

So glad to see the ratings up again! :)

That is great!!CSI:NY was the top program of the night in both total viewers and the demo!!I hope it continues strong!!

Yeah, and it amazes me how CSI: NY is fighting the Friday night graveyard. So admirable.

I hope they don't do the hiatus thing that I saw mentioned in...some article, I can't remember which. Taking NY off the air for any extended period of time would basically guarantee that it would lose a chunk of its audience.

NY seems to be pretty steady on Fridays, so hopefully CBS will leave it be for now (aside from adding a better lead-in, of course :p).

Gosh I hope that they don't take it off for a mid-season hiatus. Alot of shows seem to do that now, but it irks me. Fox seems to really like that model but it fragments viewership. Fair weather fans will easily jump ship and find another crime show. I mean, they are so many to choose from.

^ yeah, you'd hope they'd learn their lesson from last year when even having short breaks during the season totally killed it. last season wasn't great anyway but those constant 2-3 week breaks just made it impossible to keep track of or get any kind of continuity with. i know a mid-season hiatus isn't the same thing but they should bear that in mind.

I just started watching last season, so I didn't really know if shows were new or not. But now that I'm a dedicated fan, seeing it disappear for a few weeks would suck!

The fact that NY hit 2.0 on Friday is really good. I was worried about the show when I heard about the move; I'm not worried anymore.

I notice they're doing a lot of new episodes in a row this year... it feels like more than usual, though maybe I'm just not remembering. I'd guess we'll see a fair amount of reruns in December and January and then another run of new episodes.

Well done CSI:NY.These numbers are good considering the day and the awful lead-in.CBS has to cancel Medium immediately!!!
They are well on their way to doing that. Personally, I felt they should have quit while they were ahead and canceled it last season.

From what I recall it's new pretty much every week until we hit December.
