Anyone here who also watched New York..
Take a look at the actress who is playing the social worker and Nick's supposed loved interest..can you say Angell(?)..
Honestly, if they were going to cast an Angell-look-a-like..just cast the original actress instead of some chick from Edens Crush..:guffaw: At least we know the Angell actress can act!

Who is playing the social worker? I looked at the cast list, but I didn't see anyone playing a social worker, unless I missed it.
Well, it looks like they're sticking with the brunette thing for Nick. She's brunette like Kristi was. But then again it's possible that this character may not even actually be Nick's girlfriend. They may have changed their minds on what type of girl would be his girlfriend. I can't really see this girl with Nick to be honest. And I don't think she looks that much like Angell. She looks more like Brooke Burke to me. I think Nick would look best with a girl who has medium/dark blonde hair (kind of dishwater or ash blonde).

I don't see it either, however, they probably did some screen tests with her and George and tptb must have so something.
However, I'm glad they went with a brunette and the not the typical 'hollywood blond' (sorry blonds, not trying to offend, just mentioning a sterotype). Meaning that she's not this tall, leggy, thing that looks like she just walked off the runway. She has the girl next door thing and that's a nice change of pace. As Nick is the type to look beyond the outer shell.
.
Yeah, an ash blonde might work. I still think they should have went with a redhead. And I'm not just saying that because I have red hair. Nope, that isn't why.
The characters name is April Martin. On the casting call it said she was a social worker and that this character is a possible recurring role.
Here's her imdb profile if you want to know what she looks like.

Just saw a commercial for the "blockbuster crossover", as they called it. It ended with a graphic of Horatio, Mac, and Ray. Huh. How incredibly cool would it have been to have that be Catherine instead of Ray? To show her as the lead on the Vegas show along with the leads from the other shows? Oh well.

True, they should have done Horatio/Cal, Mac/Stella and Ray/Cath... shown both the male and female leads of the shows.
I'm just thinking that after all these years that Catherine should be representing LV as the lead, male or female.
