Well, I thought that too... Then I thought there's no way they'd promo a new season with old clips... But, hey, who understands the thoughts of TPTB?? Not me, that's for sure!
 
When I first saw that "promo" it was supposed to be from Australia. I don't think Australia is on the same season as us even, so I suspect that someone was having a little clip here, clip there fun.
 
That scene of Calleigh crying is from 8.01, and I think those scenes of Horatio with blood on his shirt are from even further back, season 7. This is either not a real promo or they just needed fill.
 
I can't watch the after-episode promos on CBS, so thanks for sharing. I like those few added moments we didn't see in the "Hotter Than Ever" promo.

yes we r, thats how the add for the new season is, if u actually watch the clip they show that natalia is pulling horatio up out of the water thaey just showed scenes from other eps to fill in the space

daisymay: Your comment perfectly put into words Horatio's expression. He doesn't know if help will reach him in time, but yet he's willing to risk his own safety to save Natalia. That's why we love him :D
