That is too true. Dear writers, please put him in a t-shirt and show him on a day off. And of course I'd love it if the shirt came off. Maybe it's a worn out shirt and gets caught on something and accidentally comes off. :lol::drool:

Well, going by the spoilers, it looks like Rick fans might be getting the same old treatment as far as his appearances go this coming season. He's scheduled for episodes 2 and 3, but then it looks like a big gap happens where he doesn't show up. I at least hope that if TPTB are going to lapse back into their bad habit of not using this excellent actor enough, that he does a sequel to "Mending Fences."

I hope that doesn't happen. Like Rick or not, tptb are being pennywise and pound-foolish by using so few characters per episode. Pyrotechnics are no substitute.

Or really just about anything. I'd say DLS has built up a fan base and made a name for himself now. He's shown us what he can do in "The Man From Earth" and "Mending Fences." Although I suspect that's why he wasn't in a lot of the early epis of S7.

Saw Man from Earth and loved it enough that i ordered the dvd. Have yet to see Mending Fences though i really want to. Sad part abotu not having cable or dish is i lose otu on stuff like that til its out on dvd.

Wolfsong, I keep watching Hallmark channel to see if Mending Fences is scheduled, but it hasn't been on again yet. I'll keep watching for it so I can do what I told you I'd do.

Jaglady, thanks for quoting what I posted about Rick's shirt getting caught on something and coming off because when i first posted that, I made a mess of it and it got mixed up with text I was quoting, so it didn't get posted right. And I love your idea about the Bioshower. :lol::devil:

Those are some great pics, Wolfsong. I haven't seen him in Zodiac. Was that another "bit parts" for him?

One that I'd like, and I can rustle up a link (or you'll find screencaps in the other forum) is him as Karma Rice in the JAG episode "Angels30". He obviously looked a lot younger, but really good in that Navy pilot uniform! :drool:

Yeah it was a very very brief appeareance in that movie. It took me a while to get that screencap becuase it was so short.

I'll have to go rewatch that episode now and i'll go looking for that pic soon.

Yes!!! Rick has been promoted to LT! :thumbsup:

And I'm consistently seeing Rick concerned about Horatio ("stay close to him - that's a suicide mission") in the last couple of seasons.

DLS was wonderful last night. (Hated the tie! - sorry ) I though both he and DC again worked very well together and shared the responsibility with little or no hostility. Perhaps it's fading into the past.

But help me out here - has Rick been promoted to be in charge of SWAT? If so, outstanding! That would give plenty of opportunities for Rick to interact with Horatio?
