Rex Linn/Frank Tripp Appreciation Thread

I did a search and couldn't find one for our hard-boiled Southern detective, so I've posted one in the hopes of getting some responses.

I got a real laugh last night when I watched "After the Sunset" on Encore Mystery--Rex Linn showed up as an FBI director that walked in on Woody Harrelson and Pierce Brosnan sleeping in the same bed when Salma Hayek kicked PB out of their house! He acted/reacted just as I would think Frank Tripp would and it was HYSTERICAL!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
i love this guy! i love him in that episode when calleigh and ryan ask him to look up something on the computer and he types soo slow! :D he rocks!
 
We did have a thread for Frank, but it hasn't been around for some time, so maybe a new one is better than bumping up the old one. :)

Frank is a cool guy. :)

Is Frank/Rex going to be in the next season?? If yes, I think he really deserves to appear in the "main credits" (I hope you understand what I mean? :confused: :D).
 
I loved him in Shoot Out, at least I think it was in shoot out

hehehe !!! :lol: that was Awesome!!! I love it when Calliegh and Ryan looked at each other while Frank was typing slowly :p ;)
 
One of my favourite parts is in the episode called "Freaks and Tweaks" when Frank and H are checking some guys and where Frank is saying something like: "Everybody take their left hand and stick it out, please. Left hands... Your other left hand, scruffy!". :lol:
At the beginning I never expected something like that from Frank. :D
 
oh! A Frank thread! He's the BOMB!

Really, I don't think I would've been able to stand so much H!drama without a little Frank to keep him grounded.
 
Frank is Da Man. He is such a great character and Rex Linn does amazing job. I'm glad they make him regular.

And the way he types ;) <3
 
I just love Frank Tripp. He is one of my faveret charactors next to Speed and Calleigh and yes, I admit Horatio. I am still trying to warm up to Delko and Ryan. I like Alex too but the talking to the dead took a while for me to get use to.

I liked Frank right away. His one liners are a gem for sure. "Does it look like I have 'stupid' tatooed accross my bald head" (or forhead he might of said...hell he might of used both lines at different times) An argrument I am having with roommate is that I think Frank chews tobacco. He has got that little pouch on the side of his right cheek and he talks kinda like he has something in his mouth. I will say no one ever sees him spit though. (never on camara) Anyone agree?
