Ratings: CSI vs ... Part 2

what i saw was!!! i have to say i was so in love with that promo, because i'm GSR, i didn't know CBS had others.. Are they in youtube?
i saw the canadian promo too!!

and CSI is back on top. i think it kinda disproves the *it was GSR's fault the ratings dropped* theory. all of the TV shows suffered a major drop but CSI is once again #1. it's absolutely unbelievable to stay there for so long.

yeah, i know, that still doesn't change my statement...

Okay. It just seems a little odd to me that you're focusing on one of the only areas they're losing in.

GA has dropped around 20% from last year, CSI has dropped maybe about 2%. It's the number one show on TV. It'll be the number one show of the week. So why go with the negative, I guess, is my question.

CSI is the #1 highest-rated show for the second time this season on Nielsen's Top 10 chart, and the most-watched show for the third time.

It leads Dancing With the Stars by almost 2 million viewers.

Grey's came in third for ratings and fourth for viewers.

This means that they are also the #1 show on TV for the entire season for the fourth straight week.

Small correction: Grey's actually came 5th for viewers, not 4th.

And CSI is indeed still the #1 show on TV overall, beating Dancing by about 10.3% in viewers (2.344 million more), and beating Grey's by about 11.4% in viewers according to zap2it:

Season Ratings

Grey's Anatomy: (Viewers: #1, 17.95 million; A18-49: #1, 7.3/15)
CSI: (Viewers: #2, 14.76 million; A18-49: #3, 3.8/12)

That means that with a baseball game on (and you have to figure more men watch CSI than GA) and with CSI being a repeat, GA only managed to beat them by 17.8%. Which, curiously, is almost the same number that CSI's premiere beat GA's. Ouch.

So will the World Series be up against CSI next week? Does anyone know?

Here are the dates of the WS for clarity to the issue of ratings.

So right now Boston leads 2-0 out of the best of 7 (4 games needed to win), but if Colorado comes in and wins one or ties it up they then go into the "If necessary" dates until whoever wins four games (for those who are not sure how it goes).

for those of you who wish to discuss baseball, there is a thread in the MISC forum for it. ;)

It all depends if Boston keeps winning! So far out of two games--boston has won both, and the world series is played by using the best of 7.
