"Pool Shark" Discussion **SPOILERS**

The only reason I plan on watching this one or maybe half or even the just the end of it is to catch the promo for A Kiss Before Frying :)
 
Is this the episode with Hodges in the water? That was a fairly good scene if I remember correctly. I may have to watch just for that.
 
I liked this one better the 2nd time around, I don't know why, but maybe it depends on ones mood at the time. Cath was great and her snarky remarks to whats-his-face,[Elliot Gould] "I'm a big girl" and others. Hodges and Henry fighting in the pool, the goodbye from Wendy to Hodges. The examination of the shark with Doc and Ray. It keep my interest more this time than the 1st time:confused:
 
I'm with you Desertwind, I enjoyed this better the second time around.

Cath can surely play with the big boys. She isn't rattled by the casino moguls and she can keep up with their lingo.

Not sure I like the idea of her going into that world, but she can hold her own.

Henry and David had me laughing again when they fought in the pool.

I really wish CSI hadn't gotten rid of Wendy. :( She was a great character and I thought added to the lab. Even if Wendy and Hodges didn't go cannon, their banter was great fun.
 
Did we ever get a explanation of why they let Wendy go?:confused: Stupid move. She was popular with everyone I thought, and poor Hodges. I did catch her on "Two And A Half Men" she was good, but she seemed out of place? I did enjoy Cath and her snarky remarks with all in this episode~

I don't think CBS ever actually gave a reason, but it probably has to do with the fact that CBS is paying Charlie Sheen $2 million :wtf: per episode for Two and A Half Men, they had to get the money from somewhere along with 2 other actresses from Criminal Minds and the guy from Miami (can't remember their names)

Definatley a stupid move, look at all the trouble CS keeps getting into and...:scream::mad:

Edit: Okay so apparently he's getting paid $1.25 not 2 million but still that's A LOT :wtf:

I didn't really like this as much the second time around. I really liked it the first time, but this time I was more nitpicky and spotted more flaws. I still enjoyed Elliot Gould's appearance, and while Henry's attitude kinda peeved me off he and Hodges were hilarious in the pool :lol:

I'm actually glad they got rid of Wendy. She was one of my least favourites, and I can enjoy Henry knowing he won't be used as a plot device to further the Wedges relationship :D Though I have to admit it was a stupid move for them to get rid of one of the four remaining girls on the show. That leaves, what, one who's leaving this year, one who's only in half the episodes, and one who's lucky if she gets more than five minutes per season? :mad:
 
Quick question. Was Greg's bandage on his forehead from the previous ep, the one with the explosion?

I was sad about Wendy myself, although I didn't put a lot of time into the ship.
