Re: Who Should Replace Grissom???
I think "replace" wasn't really the intended idea. No one can replace Grissom; to even try would be suicidal on the part of TPTB. Although I liked Grissom, I began to lose respect for him during the past few seasons because I felt the character was a hypocrite. He would criticize subordinates for the same kind of personal activities in which he himself was partaking. I really hope they will bring in someone who is strong, but otherwise very unlike Grissom. Like I said in the other thread, I really like Lance Henriksen, mainly because his Frank Black character, unlike Grissom, understood exactly what was going on in the minds of coworkers - motivations, probable actions, emotions - but he stayed uninvolved as long as he could. And he seemed to understand how to interact, socially, when it was appropriate. I think I could also see Mary McDonnell in the role for similar reasons.
