Paul/Brass: I Got a Coupon #2

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Vegaslight, Desertwind didn't do anything wrong, she hardly talking about GSR on this thread. She talking about Brass, Brass with Sara, Grissom or Brass with Sara and Grissom. She limit the GSR here. It that mean other has to stop talking about Sofia, wheather she with Brass. No, She talking about Brass, whether he is working Grissom and Sara, sometime Sara or other CSI.

Destiny, tell me I'm wrong about this or not.

There was no need to get involved NicknGrissom and coming to her defense.

I took the matter to PM.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Oh, okay. I won't get involved. Why can she talking about Brass or GSR here? Just tell me. I wasn't bashing you, vegaslight.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Ok, so actually bringing this back to Brass...

...there have been the times where he's given her advice. Mostly unwanted I think, though.

That was the way I always saw that cough drop scene. Brass was giving her some advice but she sure wasn't giving him a look of appreciation in return. IIRC, she looked just a tad miffed that he was getting in her business.

I also noticed Sara's look at the almost end of WtG and I agree with the rest of you about how she looked. Who knows, maybe she was caught up in the moment and "squeezed out a couple of tears" (PG's description of his scene at the end of Ellie).

Re: Paul/Brass #2

LOL! I love Paul's description of the scene at the end of Ellie "squeezed out a couple of tears" LOL.

I really have to take the time to watch the commentaries - they sound excellent.

Talking of Brass giving advice though - it seems like a lot of the advice he gives, while it is good advice and should be taken, is often not wanted or ignored. Pity that.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Yeah, I guess I will have to start watching the DVDs with the commentary on, only certain episodes though. About the whole advice thing, he has seen and been through so much and has a lot of wisdom, I too wish that some would heed the advice he gives.

Wow, I go to work and this thread got a bunch of replies...

First see your pm I answered your earlier question. Second any ship discussions belong in SC. But if you are just talking about Brass, sara, Grissom or anyother cast member not related to a ship moment then its fine. ;)

Okay sounds like a good idea. :D

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Yes indeed, sorry one fan ran this topic off into a ditch, but continuing on the Brass & Sara conversation, she knew she was busted, and did bristle a bit when Brass brought it up, but he was so subtle and cool, bringing up his own past expierences, and looking out for her, so maybe she wouldn't end up like his loser daughter Ellie, and Sara could have brought that up, but didn't ;) also when Brass got his award, the only one who congratulated him, that they showed us was Warrick, and I remember as you all do, when they were bitter enemies, yelling at one another..so things do change! speaking of, here's a cap. from "Ch-Ch-Changes" S/5 ep. 8

SO SERIOUS

Re: Paul/Brass #2

I watched BTK part 1 today and every time I see Sara turn off the TV, I want to throw my remote at the TV...I know, I am a little bitter.

Going back to this, I'm watching the episode now and what made me want to throw the remote is that Sara turns off the TV right when the voiceover on the TV is about to say what Brass's first commendation was (this was his 2nd). Now I'm curious...

Also, after watching ABRTI 2, I noticed that Brass was probably the most decorated officer there. Granted he's a captain but still, I was impressed. He had three rows of ribbons. Adams, Bell's partner, only had one. Oh, and did anyone else notice that the police officers involved in the shooting were Adams, Bell, Carroll, and Davis. A, B, C, D.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Yeah, I watched it again yesterday too on Spike and I am still P.Od about that scene. Maybe if the strike would ever end, they might give us a suprise and reveal the reason for the first commendation. Wishful thinking, yes? I laughed when I read your comment the whole A, B, C, D thing, too funny!

I did notice the ribbon thing too, being in the military and all, the first time I watched the episode. He is also the best looking ont there in uniform too. I love men in uniform!!! That's why I joined the AF, j/k! :D

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Ha! I didn't notice the ABCD thing! Nice catch!

And yeah, Brass looks awesome in uniform :)

Okay, I admit to completely missing that bit of info there. Now I'm curious as well, beaujolais. Perhaps if I tuned in next time they air BTK...

Hah, that alphabet thing never occurred to me either. I wonder if there was a reason for that.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

A lot, it seems. But they haven't mentioned any other awards he has received on the show. In the Ultimate CSI book, they mention some of the plaques and what it says on them, don't know how much is true though. I think it has been mentioned before about the Academy graduation picture and how it must have come with the office because the date is goofy on it or something like that. I mean, take a look at his office and his ribbons of course. It would be interesting to see what else he does have. It seems like he has a long a very storied career.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

It occurred to me that his first commendation might have something to do with bringing down the corrupt cops in Newark.

Someone else might have mentioned it but I know I brought it up somewhere. If you watch "Burn Out", you can see that the picture says, "Graduating Class of the Police Academy, 1965". A little before Brass's time, I think.
