NY Forum Trip To LA #2

The internet is not the same without Fay. :(

I'm glad my bowling technique cracked everyone up. I always have fun bowling, even though to say I suck at it is such a massive understatement it's not even funny! :lol:

And Henrietta DID NOT find Ferndell! :p I don't know why the biggest whiner on the hike is making fun of me... ;) :devil:

:lol: I totally meant that comment out of love, it might have not come across as that way initially though! MrsG does do that to those she loves, I do that to one of my friends and he gives it back to me, all out of love. :p I cracked up when I read her post at Trek BBS, apparently they don't understand her humor (until the fearless Top and doubleoh5 came to the rescue!)

The artwork at the apartment that I stayed at with MrsG and lookaboomerang was rather interesting. It just fit in with the theme of the weekend.

I am sure that Fay has almost died from lack of the internet or is in a coma.

As for Fay, I don't even know what to say. Fay without internet access is pure tragedy. I feel I should reach out to her, but I know words can't soothe the agony she's enduring at the moment. Thankfully, she at least has some ... um, "literature" at her disposal during this difficult time. :devil:

Lookaboomerang - Fire up that Kung Peo Kitty pic as your MySpace profile pic. It's a good one. I also have one of you in your sunglasses in Boulevard 3 that would make a nice profile pic as soon as I get around to posting. But I really like the one Thumy took. :D

Hey guys! I'm finally able to post so I just wanted to let you know just how amazing this meeting has been. Granted, I was a little quiet (but I'm sure you'll cut me some slack, sitting around a table with 15 people speaking another language - fast... catching up was a little difficult at first) but I had a blast though I uhm... totally suck at bowling. Got the lowest score ever, but it was my first time so uhm, there's time to get better. :lol:

So after two planes, a bus ride and a 45-minute train I'm finally at my friend's house in New York where I'll be until mid-August so technically my vacation isn't over yet. :D I was also happy to get all my stuff back (for the ones who don't know, my suitcases got lost on the way from Italy and were shipped in NY the day I left for LA... figures).

I'm loving the pictures so please keep posting. I didn't take any because (obviously) my camera was in my suitcase so if I'm in any of your pictures please share. And thanks everybody for making this trip special. :)
 
I was going to upload my pics to my computer and then Snapfish today, but stupidly I forgot the connector cable at home. :eek: So it'll most likely be tomorrow. I'll e-mail out the link to you guys when they're up, and then one of you can figure out how to get them online and posted. :lol:

^ I will be sending everyone who went on the trip an email link for Kodak gallery or snapfish, so people can get copies of any pics they want. Hopefully I'll get that out today. I've never done it before, so bear with me.

Orison - I fell bad. Your English is so great on the board that I forgot it's not your native language. Oops! Next time just tell us to conduct our discussions of gay porn more slowly. :lol:
 
^ No problem. I'm kinda used to it when I'm around people I know but sometimes when it's new friends I need time to get used to their way of talking and such. No worries though, I got most of the gay porn stuff... :lol:
 
I've been telling Orison since the day I met her (which was almost a year ago) that her English is better than most people who were raised with it as their first language! She doesn't believe me though. Camelot thinks she's just keeping quote...committing everything we say to memory and then some day there is going to be this book or movie out and we're all going to go "O!M!G! She wrote about us!!!"
 
I went to Griffith Park today and was able to solve the whole Kristine/Deb/Henrietta debacle.

The name of the street is Fern Dell. It's on Los Feliz, NOT Franklin. I told Kristine to go down Los Feliz just in case, but she didn't want to "upset Henrietta" and God forbid we enrage an object that has no human feelings whatsoever. Henrietta is a dumbass. We all suck hard.

In other news, I found an apartment, yay! And I've been calling Kristine to tell her about it but she didn't answer her phone. I was a nice guest, picked up after myself, helped her pay for parking everywhere we went, etc. Pick up your phone, Kristine!
 
I must mention that the shot of me at WB studio actually depicts me learning that the buildings are made of fiber glass and not brick. The tour guide had it out for me I swear!
Let me clarify. I'm in a car with Mr and Mrs Elsie and four people from Scotland. I'm Canadain, so Evan (our guide) decides to pick on me. Though I might've volunteered to test the fiberglass bricks.
I loved the whole trip and miss y'all so much. It's amazing that it was a week ago that we met for the first time at Miceli's and I was so beyond lost...my dear mother saved me by introducing herself to MrsG. She then became the coolest mom in the world. I miss you guys so much and I hope to see you next year. Although I will be brining the obnoxiously loud and troubled CSI_trainee, my best friend in Real Life.
I'll have pictures when I relocate my camera!
 
Yippee!! You've found an apartment! Don't forget about your god-child. Bailey will be arriving on your doorstep as soon as the weaning process is over.
