To get the trainer to confess, Nick held a hapless turtle over a tank of pirannahs and yelled, "Talk..or turtle buffet for my little friends..buwahahahahahah!":devil:

Maybe in my fan fic he would!

BTW, if anyone is having trouble thinking of a story title, I have links for those kinds of generators too. Most of them are fantasy titles though. I looked at them when I had trouble with my fic title. Didn't really help me much, but then I'm picky. :lol:

seventhsanctum.com has a lot of different kinds of generators. :) Their writing challenge generator is pretty decent... its more normal than that logline thing. :lol: Although that is entertaining to say the least. :lol:

For the homeless jungle cats GNRfan. Why else?
Clearly the marine biologist didn't feel challenged enough with piddly ocean animals and decided to open a benevolent charity for land mammals. And the game show host (it was Alex Trebek, you just know it!) wanted to help, maybe he provided the funds that he skimmed off the top of winners' cash prizes.

Why can't I BS my way through a fic like that?!! :wtf:

Awww I can't wait to start reading... I hope you all get your stories done in time :)

Sad I need to wait till Monday to start reading... but then... yay :D

Even it's a really dark theme this time, I'm sure we will get great fics out of it :)

Okayyyy....I just realized that when I posted the challenge I gave a three week deadline instead of the normal two weeks. Ooops!

I think most people were still working on the two week deadline tho, since I've gotten several fics sent to me this week.

Is there anyone who is working on one who needs more time than 6:00 EST on August 1 to get theirs finished?

Or will everyone have their story ready by then?

I don't know if I'll have mine done, but don't wait for me. I hate making people wait and I won't do that, so if I don't have mine to you, then post them.

I didn't know what the deadline was and was going by everyone else.

If everyone is ready, post them, I'm looking forward to reading them. :)

My writers' block gremlin thing is still camped out in whatever area of the brain that controls that sort of thing so no story this time but I am definitely going to read everyone's and be extremely jealous

There was the delay of getting the song due to your computer going on the fritz there for a couple of days.

BUT....

Working on it...this has been the hardest yet for me...difficult subject matter...so if you need to move on I will understand...it might and it might not be done by six...I thought we had to midnight and it is my birthday...so I can just read!:)
