Personally, I see nothing wrong with these two. They don't mention GSR by name. In fact, if they had been proposed during season 2 when Sara was dating Hank there would be no griping whatsoever. Similarly, if Sara was single and Nick was with some random broad no one would complain about the suggestions. I don't see how it should be any different just because Sara is with Grissom. In fact, it almost seems like WE are having to take extra steps to make sure we do nothing that could express any disagreement with them. It seems like preferential treatment. I'm not saying it IS, but hopefully you can see how we might take it that way.
I completely agree with you. You said exactly what I meant to say. I mean, hopefully, people are not that immature here and they can take this without being offended. Because if they do get offended...well, that's just sad.
And like Hearty said, Grillows thread has the name that is much more offensive that these listed above. I'm not saying that we WANT to use one of them, we are just making suggestions. And personally, I think that you reacted prematurely.
thank you, glad to see im not alone in being baffled. i can agree that the one about bugs was against GSR, and against canon was because they are canon now, but i dont see a problem with these two. i dont want to get into anymore trouble, but i dont want us to get treated unfairly either, because it does seem like we have been getting the short end of the stick for a while.
and the grillows name is a direct jab at GSR, why is it diff rules for diff ships?
also if we suggested the cheating ideas when sara was with hank no one would have cared, so just because she is now with gris its different? just because GSR is a ship, im sure there were people that liked hank and sara, do they mean less because they are a minority? this whole thing is bull.
no offence, bu not letting up have those titles, that could be in relation to all relationships in general, spesh cheating isnt cheating its its love, but letting grillows have their name is hypocrytical. if it was equal for all i would still be pissed but would accept it, but its not so im pissed and dont accept it because its not fair.
i dont want to get in more trouble, because i cant, but i wont sit down and take hypocricy either. i'm sorry, but thats just how i am. i dont want to fight or defy the mods or rules, but i want us to be treated fairly.

Heartagram69, this isn't aimed directly at you, but at ANYONE who is indulging in this behavior. I did use your post as I have had complaints and having been let back, you ought to be off my radar, not making waves. But my rant is general, to any indulging in the problem behaviors and I mean business. All those who the shoe fits had best take note.
Stop trolling each other. Grow the hell up. These are pretend characters. These pretend characters are not having sex with each other in real life, OK? Sorry to be so blunt, but I've lost mods in the past over this stupid crap and it STILL GOES ON.

Now - having said that - that doesn't mean I say you can't get into a show or like couples. By no means. A show that is written well will suck you in and stir your emotions. If this is happening, it means the writers and actors/actresses have done their job.
What it should not mean is that you, live human beings, should lose perspective. Discuss the show, rave about it, whine about it, but don't attack posters who don't feel the same.
This means respecting the right of fellow posters to have different opinions/likes/dislikes. There's nothing wrong with people thinking differently on a subject. It makes things more interesting.
You know the rules of the 'ships. Respect each other's 'ships. If you can't, log the hell off and go do your homework, play with the dog, cook a meal, or prepare for work tomorrow. Don't go online if you can't stop yourself from attacking a poster or group of posters with different opinions.
And yes, that includes subtle fighting. You're not being clever, there are enough that pick up on it and when I have to come into here to rag about it, I'm not happy.
This forum was created for you. I didn't do this over at the Big Board (thank God!) This is just for the CSIers. Why is it so hard to use it for the reason intended? That is - jabbering on about your favorite romantic hookups.
Avoid trouble. And do NOT attack other 'ships, not subtly, not openly. Quit bugging the hell out of the mods with stupidities and quit acting like babies. Because if this doesn't stop, I'm going to start tossing people.
The mods will do their best to be fair and even-handed. No one is gunning for anyone and mods are chosen because they can be fair. There is no official 'ship in here and there never will be - there is room for all of them and the mods are concerned with behaviors, not making sure you agree with their own 'ship preference (and mods are allowed to have 'ship preferences.)
No more crap. No more subtle attacks, no more nastiness, no more bad behaviors. It stops now. Or I will start removing individuals and if I remove you because of this, you won't be back. My niceness only goes so far and a lot of it has been used up dealing with the problems in this forum.
