And Tony had to make a choice between Jeanne or his NCIS family...he read the letter from Jeanne but threw it in the fireplace, his choice made....his NCIS family....this song was playing...it was perfect....Family! I loved that moment and I love this song.

I'm at either 400 words, 200 words or 100 words, depending on which file you look at!

I'm kind of hoping to have narrowed it down to just one file by the time I sit down for new!Nick this evening...

I actually have an idea for a story....I haven't gotten it onto paper yet but I'll try.

Man... I have absolutely no idea so far... I hope that will change before the deadline is near :scream:

But I like that you all have ideas and already start writing :) Can't wait to start reading again :D

That little idea I mentioned before is not going to happen cause I forgot to write it down and now I don't even remember what it was. :lol: Luckily I have another idea and this one I just wrote down notes for. :D

Yeah I had an idea but it went nowhere...but I quickly got another one thankfully. Once I finish it and type it I'll know if I need to shorten or lengthen it

Err, how strict is that limit, Smokey? (Just so's I know exactly how brutally I need to wield the Red Pen Of Doom when I start editing)

Well... I'm not Mom, but as far as I know we all stay under 2500 words... otherwise you can't enter the challenge and need to publish it somewhere else. I had the same problem once. But in my case it were more than 800 words more...

If you have only a few more words than 2500 you need to try to shorten it so it fits... we all do it like that :)

At the moment, I'm looking at needing to remove at least 500; it's whether or not 2501 words would be acceptable or if it absolutely positively has to be 2500 or less with no leeway because that's going to dictate how I edit, to a degree.

(Why yes, yes I DO obsess about the minutiae!)
