Re: Nick Fic Song Challenge Thread #2 Well... I'm not Mom, but as far as I know we all stay under 2500 words... otherwise you can't enter the challenge and need to publish it somewhere else. I had the same problem once. But in my case it were more than 800 words more... If you have only a few more words than 2500 you need to try to shorten it so it fits... we all do it like that
Re: Nick Fic Song Challenge Thread #2 At the moment, I'm looking at needing to remove at least 500; it's whether or not 2501 words would be acceptable or if it absolutely positively has to be 2500 or less with no leeway because that's going to dictate how I edit, to a degree. (Why yes, yes I DO obsess about the minutiae!)
