She smiled as he pulled back. She sighed and put her feet up, relieved to be home. She started flipping through the channels.

that's better warrick thought as he put the bacon on plates and helped lindsey with the eggs.

Half an hour later, Cath began to feel it again. She tried to shake it off, but no luck. "Warrick?" she called.

"yes hon" he answered bringing her plate with him.

She smiled at his use of a pet name. "I'm starting tp feel dizzy again. Where is it comin' from?"

" i don't know, i'm not dizzy, maybe you have a head cold" concern filling his voice.

She shook her head. "Maybe it's my sinuses." She took a breath.

"maybe, you should go to a doctor though."

She shook her head again. "No, really, I'm okay." She smiled at his concern.

"okay, you let me knw though if it gets worse sweetie. i'm concerned for you. i love you" he gave her a little hug and took their dishes back to the kitchen.

She smiled again. "Love you, too." She was glad Lindsey had been right about them and that she'd finally had the courage to listen to her heart.

warrick glowed inside to hear her say that. he dropped down on the couch beside cath and put his arm around her like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Her shoulder warmed at his touch. She curled into him, resting her head on his chest. She felt safe for the first time in ages.

he watched her as she flipped through channels. god she was so beautiful. he wondered why he had waited so long for her to come to him when he could have easily asked her out.

She noticed him watching her. "What is it, War? You look a little lost."
