New Found Love: A crossover rp #4

(ugh alright, here I go. But just to warn ya'll I'm totally pulling this out of no where. lol.)

Alexx cleared her throat and taped her fork on the edge of her glasses, signally to everyone that she was ready to give her toast. "Most of you in this room don't know me, but I work with both Tim and Calleigh at the crime lab in Miami." she started smiling at the two. "I uh...I'll be honest I tried everything in my power to get these two together and it just wouldn't work." she said as she looked around the hall.

"There both stubborn as can be. But whatever it is that you two did it worked. I look at you two and I can see me and my husband when we got married. The way you look at eachother, the way you two steal quick kisses when you think no one's looking. But I have to warn you. I'm always watching." she said honestly.

"I mentioned that there both stubborn. But I think the one who is most stubborn is Timmy." she said as she looked at him. Tim laughed slightly and looked away "Boy don't you look away from me when you know i'm right. You think just because your from Syracuse that you can get away with it." Alexx shook her head and turned to Calleigh, "If gives you any problems Calleigh you have my permission to kick his butt from Miami all the way to Ohio if you feel like it." she said softly.

(ok, yeah I'm not done with Alexx's toast I just have writer's block. And what I have so far sucks!)
 
Alexx smiled slightly and paused before continuing. "There are many different emotions a person can feel. Hatred, anger, sadness, greed, jealousy. But there is one that out beat them all. And that is love." she said as she looked at them. "And when I look at you two thats what I see. You two love eachother more then anything. You don't have to tell anyone that. I think this whole room can see that." she said.

"The only thing I ask of you two is that no matter what happens in the time that you two are together is to keep on loving eachother. Because love conquers all." she said as she raised her glass. "To Tim and Calleigh." she took a quick drink and then looked at Calleigh, "Seriously baby he gives you any trouble just a quick kick outta do it." she said with a small smile and then sat back down.
 
Calleigh raised her glass and sipped it when Alexx had. She then thanked her, and set her glas back down on the table, leaning over to kiss Tim.
 
Alexx smiled at Calleigh and took another sip from her glass.

Tim smiled at Alexx and then leaned in and kissed Calleigh lightly.
 
Horatio had to chuckle a bit at what Alexx said at the end, but what she said was very true. He took a sip of his white wine before looking over to Delko.

Eric stood then stood up after taking a sip. "Just like Alexx, I too am a friend from work," he began, grinning. "For some reason, it seems like yesterday that I just met the two. But Tim here.. He was head-over-heels, I swear." Delko took a breath as he thought his words over for a second. "There had been a few keeping track of Alexx's attempts to get the two together, and it finally came through," he said in a joking tone.

"Despite being completely annoying to the two and constantly causing them trouble, I love them both like family and I couldn't see anyone else with them at all. The way you two look at eachother, one would know that you both are in love. So much has happened over the past few days, it's almost unbelievable.

"You both go through a mishap and a few quarrels and you're both still here, fighting stronger than ever. Doubts, worries, everthing taken into account, your love still comes out on top. It's amazing, for me, to see that," Delko grinned. "Calleigh, I'm next to dead certain you've made him the most happiest and luckiest person on the face of this Earth. Though, dealing with him on a daily basis? I wish you luck," he said the last part with teasing sarcasm.

"Congratulations to you both. Best of wishes. And if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask," Eric then said, raising his glass of wine. "To Mr. and Mrs. Speedle." He took a sip of his drink before sitting down himself.
 
Calleigh raised her glass again, sipping it and then thaking Eric as well. "I didn't know he could speak like that." she said with a small giggle. "That was very sweet Eric." she said with a tilt of her head.
 
"Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?.. I do," Delko answered himself, gently clapping Tim on the shoulder. "I'm really happy for you two. And no, you arn't really that bad, but Alexx was right about you two being somewhat hard-headed.." he shrugged.

Horatio chuckled. "Guys, let's not start a scene.. I'm off duty right now."
 
Tim laughed slightly, "Yeah right, H." he stated, "Your a cop 24/7 and don't you try to denie it." he then shook his head lightly, "And us?" he said pointing from him to Delko. "Cause a scene. Never."
 
Calleigh turned Speed's head again so that she could look at him. "Of course not baby, you're perfect." she said with a smile as she leaned in to kiss him lightly.
 
Tim smiled and kissed Calleigh back lightly. He then turned to Delko and stuck his tongue out at him. "See, I'm perfect."
 
Horatio waved a hand dismissively. "Don't remind me.." he replied. "And I'll believe that at the turn of the century," Horatio finished with a reply to Tim's last comment.

Delko chuckled. "Figures you'd say that," he said to both Horatio and Tim before taking another sip of his drink. "Oh quiet, Speed."
