"Never Alone" - CSI: Miami- Rave, Cake & Eden

Not much can fit on a ring.
How about Natalia Delko? or just 'Talia? (since that was his nickname for her)
 
Hi, everyone. Just wanted to post this so you didn't think I'd forgotten about the story. I've had a real bad cold/congestion thing the past couple of weeks and haven't been able to work on the fics. I tried one night and I couldn't concentrate cause I kept going into coughing fits. So, I just decided to wait until I was all better. I'm mostly over it now, though I've still got a little of the cough. I may try to work on it tonight if I get the chance. :)
 
no problem! i know how u feel i have them now! and it sucks!!!! lol i understand completely! and im sure itll be great once uve figure it out!
 
I finally was able to concentrate and I wrote the chapter a couple of nights ago, but I've had a lot of family over, so I didn't get a chance to type it up. I'll try to get it typed up and posted tomorrow. :)
 
Chapter Fifteen​



Rick Stetler was driving down Simmons road when he saw a woman walking along the side of the road slowly. He noticed that her clothes were tattered and there was some blood on them. He stopped the car and got out. "Are you okay, ma'am?" He asked.​

She looked up at the sound of his voice. "Stetler!" She exclaimed. "I never thought I'd be so happy to see you in my life!"​

"Ms. Boa Vista, are you okay?"​

"I don't know."​

"Everyone has been looking for you."​

"Someone grabbed me from behind and knocked me out with chloroform."​

"Are you bleeding?"​

"It's not my blood. It's one of the kidnappers' blood."​

"There was more than one?"​

"Two I think. One left and the other came into the room I was in. I heard him coming and was prepared. I think I killed him. I managed to escape before the second guy returned."​

"Okay, let's get you to the hospital and get you checked out just to be sure."​

"Yeah, I need to make sure it's okay."​

"What?" He asked before realization set in. "Oh."​

"Eric doesn't know. I got the call right before I was abducted. I didn't get the chance to tell him."​

"My lips are sealed." He said, opening the passenger side door for her. She got inside and he shut the door. He went around to the driver's side and got in the car.​

"Thank you." Natalia said.​

"No problem." He replied, starting the car. He pulled out onto the road and then pulled out his phone. "Horatio, it's Rick."​

Eric was pacing back and forth. Ryan and Calleigh were trying to calm him when Horatio walked in.​

"Eric." H said.​

"H. Has there been any news?"​

"Yes, there has. Rick just called and said he found her on Simmons road. She seems okay, but he's going to take her to the hospital as a precaution. She said there were two kidnappers. One left and she managed to kill the other one when he tried to attack her. She escaped before the second guy returned."​

"But, she's okay?"​

Horatio nodded. "I'll drive you to the hospital."​

"Okay."​

"We'll meet you there." Ryan told him as H and Eric left, taking Frank with them.​

"Natalia!" Eric said, running into the hospital room.​

"Eric!" She exclaimed.​

"Are you okay?" He hugged her.​

She nodded. "We're fine."​

"We?" He questioned.​

"Before I was abducted, my doctor called. I didn't get a chance to tell you before that guy grabbed me."​

"Tell me what?"​

"I'm pregnant." She said. "Luckily those guys didn't hurt us. I don't know what they wanted with me, but they..." She started to cry and he hugged her again.​

"Talia, what is it?"​

"They took my ring. It was gone when I woke up after being chloroformed."​

"Was there an inscription on the ring, Eric?" Frank inquired.​

"Yes, there was."​

"There was?" Natalia asked.​

"You didn't see it?"​

"Didn't get the chance."​

"It said 'To my True North' in Russian." Eric told Frank and Natalia.​

"True North?" Frank asked.​

"It's our song." Natalia answered. "It was playing on our first date... the first time we got together that is."​

"I'll have all the pawn shops alerted. If anyone brings in a ring with that description, we'll be notified. We'll catch the second guy and anyone else who is involved."​

This is not how I originally meant for this storyline to go, but it just sort of wrote itself. :lol:​

:guffaw: i was laughin so hard when i read this!!! i cant stand that man every time i see him i get so mad at him! lol every time he tells heratio somethin im like shut up nobody likes u anyway!!!!!!

I enjoy the 'True North' bit - is that a real song or did you make it up? Either way, I like the way it sounds :p
OK, & I admit, I was pleasantly surprised to see Stetler being nice :lol:

Mmmk, now I can't wait to read more about the baby news!!
