Kat, thanks so much for the promo shots. I love that the first one is Tim and Abs; most promo's seem to concentrate on Gibbs, Tony and Ziva. Because they are good actors, I lose track of the idea that they are all gorgeous, too! :D
and I loved the Ralph Waite photo; he may be Gibbs dad now, but his mode of dress keeps me thinking of him as "Pa," John Walton (so Gibbs would be John-Boy, right?)

awww thanks everyone! :alienblush:

I really liked the premiere. Tony was so funny on that ship. I was glad at least part of the team is together again!

Kat, I could kiss you for that :D Scrap that I am kissing you :luvlove::luvlove::luvlove::luvlove::luvlove:

After a rather crappy day that just put a huge smile on my face :)
Just watched the premiere again and i could watch it a thousand more

I know what you mean luf100. I adsmit that at first I wasn't a huge Ziva fan but trust me I can't imagine the show now without her and her Ziva-isms!

I know this is from a couple days ago, but I think I figured out why I like Ziva even more than Kate, and I really liked Kate. Ziva is probably the closest thing to Gibbs in nature, but the language barrier keeps her a little gentler and keeps the spotlight on Gibbs, as I'm sure TPTB intended. She's also nearly a superhero: females are used to verbally parrying chauvinism; hit on Ziva in an ungentlemanly manner and she'll have the guy on the floor crying like a baby before he knows what happened to him! Sorry, all you guys out there, I think it's a cathartic female thing, for all the times we were hit upon and wished we could do something instead of just saying something.

:guffaw:Rock on Rahkira in the words of Abby "Ziva you kick butt and look sooo good doing it!"

Just watched tonight's epi. Interesting story. Loved Tony's wall with Ziva swimsuit pics. I like both of them, but I'm not sure yet how I'd feel about a ship; seems TPTB are pushing in that direction. But, best of all, Tony's back. Yeah! The gang's all together again. No mention of Lee, but that will come up again soon, I'm sure.

Here's a link to a Rocky Carroll interview at TV Guide (video), no real spoilers, just some hints. Just a little more info on the shredding incident in the finale: http://video.tvguide.com/ID/1329618?autoplay=true

The episode was good, but nothing in comparison to the season start
I loved how Gibbs let the airplane do the job in the end
(a SOLDIER on a CARRIER doesn't know to grab a hold during takeoff? Idiot of the month...)

I found this at Ausiello's:
Question: Are Tony and Ziva going to get together romantically this season on NCIS? Do they finally quit the cat and mouse game and start dating? -- Dianna
Ausiello:
Sounds like a question for exec producer Shane Brennan: "There's no doubt that Tony is intrigued by what Ziva was up to while in Israel, but is he motivated by curiosity or jealousy? The slow dance between Ziva and Tony will continue, but maybe Ziva has another name on her dance card. Could it end badly? Yes. The question is, for whom..." And you guys call me a tease.
Question: So glad Gibbs' team got back together last night! But what's the deal with Agent Lee? Will she be back? Will Gibbs learn of her deceit? -- Kim
Ausiello:
Yes she will be back. And yes, "sometime soon Gibbs' gut instinct will kick in," teases Brennan. And when that time comes look the heck out!

I love the second spoiler...this is going to be fun

Great episode last night, if for nothing else than being Tony centric and getting the team back together. I'm excited for next week! :)

Last night's ep was absolutely fabulous. Tony's reaction on Gibbs telling him he was going home was classic :guffaw:As was Abby's reaction in the bullpen. Shes hugging again  Gibbs diving into the airplain, very sportive for a man his age  Can't wait for next week's episode.

This sums it up perfectly really!
Have to say that even though i'm glad Tony is back I think they should have had him stay as an agent afloat for a couple more weeks, just so that the show doesn't say "whatever Gibbs wants he gets". Does that make sense... I know its been 4 months but I wanted to see Gibbs actually fight for Tony ys'know...

and i'm sorry but Gibbs diving into the plane was:drool: i mean seriously slow that scene down lol

^^ I agree, but I think Gibbs did fight a bit for DiNozzo... when he was in Vance's office, he basically told him Tony or no one... But yeah, Gibbs fighting more for Tony would've been nice to see.

I loved the part where Tony tells him, "I missed you, Boss," and Gibbs said, "Yeah, I know." Just a sweet little part.

Although, I'm curious to see what happened with Ziva... Can't wait until next week!

Yea but he didn't really force the issue anyways woohoo Tony's back lol
Yea and the little smile Gibbs made when Tony realised he was coming home was sooo cute:thumbsup:, then at the end the manly handshake lol for christ sakes jump him like Abby did:guffaw:Gibbs hugged Ducky therefore he should hug Tony haha (I know they best friends knew each yrs blah blah i'm just ranting lol)

Just realised i sound quite crazy today anyway much love Gibblets :)

Is it just me, or is this dialogue a flashback to Princess Leia and Han Solo, just before he was placed in carbonite? Do you think it was an intentional homage?

I thought it was a pretty good episode, glad to see the team all back together! I love that Vance told Gibbs he didn't send Tony afloat to punish him. I think he wanted Tony to grow up a little bit (which I bet he probably did), and he might have wanted Tony to have some time apart from the team to think over the events that transpired with Jenny's death, and maybe grieve a little bit (especially since Tony really felt mostly responsible for Jenny's death). I don't think he ever didn't intend to bring Tony back. Maybe he just wanted Gibbs to realize how much he valued Tony, too? At any rate, it was nice. :)

Abby cracked me up when she said "Timmy's got new skills!" She sounded verrry impressed  So, Keating screwed up Tim's computer? I don't know if we've seen/heard the last of Keating, maybe he is the one working with Lee? :alienblush: After all, as we saw last week, whomever it was, encrypted everything so deep that even Tim and the other sub-basement geeks were having a hard time with it... Keating would fit the bill!

Loved Gibbs' running nosedive into the plane, go Gibbs!!!!

Finally, I do wish they'd stop being so heavy handed with the "Ziva obsessed with Tony" schtick. Sometimes it's funny, but sometimes it's a little too much. Ziva's a savvy, classy lady who has been all over the world, I hardly think she'd realistically be sitting around mooning over an emotionally unavailable Tony, that's kind of a slap in the face to Ziva's otherwise strong character. (There, I've vented, and I feel much better now. Thanks for listening, everyone! ;) )

Looking forward to next week's ep! :)

Agree with both of your points. I hadn't thought about Keating until Tim started talking about how much trouble he was having getting into the system.

Definitely agree about Ziva. Why would she be obsessed with Tony? She's seen too much of life and death already to be into the high school romance scene.
