The episode where H gets married was on last night and I caught the part where Natalia was getting on Eric's case about how immature he was being about the whole thing. I really liked her in that scene. There's been a lot of talk about how she is immature, but in that scene she goes to Eric even though they've had some issues and convinces him to do the right thing. Even in retrospect you can't view that scene as having anything to do with her being the mole. It was about her caring enough about Eric and H to tell Eric he was being an ass. It's scenes like this that make me think she wasn't just there to be a mole; that she really cared about her co-workers.

Also, who said she was actually looking for "bad stuff?" From the finale: "...I only supplied them with positive information; I have been nothing but a support to this lab." Where in there did it even suggest that she went snooping around the lab for bad information?
I blame the writers for doing such a poor job with Natalia this year. The character wasn't developed properly because the writers were so focused on that stupid "mole" storyline, which turned out to be a huge flop anyway.
Natalia wasn't given much of a chance for people to like her... Hopefully the writers will do a better job developing her this season.
On another note...
Did we ever find out why Natalia lived in such a wealthy neighborhood? And why she totally avoided the question when Ryan asked her about it?

i know i'm double posting but i dont know how to change ny last post. i just read what is supose to be the first episode of season 5 and i'm mad. I dont want nathalia to be living in hell just because of the damn FBI who wanted to know more. if they are gonna make her suffer during all of season 5 its gonna be more stupid than season 4.

Just a reminder to never trust the spoilers too much, veggie. We all know how misleading they can be.
However, if these spoilers do turn out to be true...
I don't think the CSIs will make her life a living h*ll all through season five, but at least the first several episodes. Afterall, they now know that she's the mole. And they're super angry about it.
[SPOILER='Talia in Season 5]If this spoiler is true, I have no idea how they're going to make Natalia a CSI. I don't think they'd even imagine doing so until she redeems herself, but how is she going to do that when she's confined in the MDPD lab all day?

I've got some crazy hopes that everyone who hates Natalia will probably kill me for...
I'd love to see Natalia's ex make an appearance. I don't know if I'd like her to be the victim, though... I'd rather her fight back and do a helluva good job at it. On the other hand, I'd LOVE to see Eric come to her rescue.
And then maybe the ex-hubby gets away, H goes all heroic, and decides to protect Natalia, too, just in case the guy comes back. (As does Eric. Because he realizes that he's madly in love and just destined to be with her. Tee.
)
OH! Maybe the ex-hubby can attack the lab! He goes psycho on one of the other CSIs and Natalia decides to step in and takes the hits for them. Except she'll fend off the guy. Gets pretty beat up in the process, but fends him off nonetheless. Who knows? For once maybe they'll show a strong woman on television who can defend herself! *gasp*
Or maybe there's a murder that has to do with the ex. She hates him so much that she goes down to the crime scene, works her butt off, and ends up breaking the case, all of her collected evidence ever-so-solid, and he goes back to jail.
And then maybe that, with the help of the recording of Monica saying, "Boa Vista was useless," could get her back on the CSIs good side. They'll be like: "yay!" And they realize how good of a CSI she can be.
God, I'm such a dork.
I don't know. Whatever TPTB have planned for her, I hope it not only redeems her with the CSIs, but with a lot of the viewing audience, too. She's at such a disadvantage from that stupid mole storyline.
On another note...
I saw the season four opener again the other day. It's amazing how much the character changed from the first episode to the last. I didn't realize how drastic it was.
...And I still want to know what's up with the wealthy neighborhood and the avoidance of any questions about it!

Again Boa Vista Fan i agree with you!!! I like the idea of her ex coming back. she could show him she change and she's not stupid enough to let her get hurt again. I'd like for her to get back with Eric but only if he say he's sorry for what he said to her after the mole stuff.

i'm really hoping that Natalia wont be feeling guilty all season. she thinks she did nothing wrong? well i believe her and if people dont trust her anymore well srew them, they dont deserve to be her friends. they seems to really enjoy judging people. I' m gonna be mad at the writers for a long time if she doesnt stand up for herself.

I think I'd like to see Natalia feeling guilty for a little bit. We're so used to her flirting and seeing her in the soap bubbles that we haven't gotten that great of a chance to see the real Natalia. Something such as guilt can show a lot about a person. I'd like to see her struggle a little bit with herself.

With Natalia going into the field next season, I certainly hope things look up for her. I mean, I wasn't really a fan of her when she first showed up on CSI: Miami. I was still sore about Cooper showing up and Tyler leaving, and her character just didn't appeal to me. But now Natalia strikes me as a character with potential -- very likeable, actually. She doesn't seem like the type of person to take crap from anybody. More like someone I would be friends with, if I worked in the lab.
And since Ryan's the one going to be tutoring her in the field, I think he's going to give her crap about being the FBI plant, but I think some of his resentment comes from her and Eric being a couple still.
