Yikes sorry for telling you why I didn't like Boa and I guess your right about blaming the writers, but that is why I don't like the character, I never dissed Eva, I think she's a good actress, I mean I don't like her character and that's what the writers wanted. Same as when they introduced Ryan to the show they made his character unlikeable to some, I always loved him though, I saw beyond his flaws. But anyways the writer are to blame but I hated the cold case thing, I can't help it. That is just a useless thing for the CSI show and seeing they are making her a CSI now seems like TPTB realize their mistake. SO since I pissed off peeps here's a make up present. I got it from Getty Imagaes and it's funny cause when I broke it down to catagories there where several like shoes, dresses, ect and this was under cleavage, I swear. So it's a nice pic. Natalia boa vista fan i saw epis with here in it, she was having a relationship with Eric and i can remember myself the most of the epi where she thinks she pregnant of Him so maybe you know witch season that wash and i al ready knows thats she is the mole, but thats no problem to Know .. :devil:

i miss most of season 4 but i'm watching the rerun! i did saw the episode where we find out she had a abusive husband, i saw a part of payback, also saw the one where Eric said she was "clear for landing" and the one when Horatio get married. And now they start over with the first episodes of season 4. I still hope i'm gonna see Silencer.

I can see and understand certain reasons that people have for not liking the character, but I think that anyone who has one of their reasons as a "cold cases aren't supposed to be on CSI: Miami!" is just... I don't know. Sure, you may dislike the idea of cold cases on the show, but you shouldn't dislike the person in charge of them, because that's just their job. If someone's going to dislike Natalia, I'd rather them do it because they dislike her personality, not because of a job that doesn't directly relate to that of the CSIs.'
(And thanks for the "present." Cleavage or not, Eva always looks gorgeous.)
I'd immediately disagree with anyone who calls her a wimp, weak, etc. I don't think I need to tell anyone that being in an abusive relationship is extremely terrifying and painful for the one being abused. Natalia had to deal with that for who knows how long, and to be able to have the strength to make it through and put her abuser in jail is tremendous. A fair amount of survivors (I prefer the term "survivors" over "victims.") of abuse don't even have it in them to leave their abuser, never mind take them to court.
I have a great respect for Natalia. After something so traumatic, it's tough to get back out there and surround yourself with people. It was a big step for her to throw a party, to have another go at dating, and especially to open up to people she barely knew about her past abuse.
I respect Natalia just for that. Even if I hated the character (which I obviously don't), I'd at least have some respect for her in regards to her unfortunate past.

That'd be season four. Every episode that she's in is a season four eppy, because she was just introduced this past season.
That was the episode that won me over. Even I was "up in the air" with Natalia at the beginning of the season, but I became a fan the day this episode aired.

i really agree with you on that. that episode really made me like her. She's a great person who met someone who could completly destroy her but she got stronger and got rid of him. she is a really strong woman. i see her as someone who dont really care about what other people think. its like if you want to be her friend she's gonna be really nice but if you dont like her then she wont care about you or what you think but she wont be a btch.

After watching the first episode several weeks ago, I couldn't help but go: "Wow. Natalia changed A LOT since the opener." It was kind of cool watching Natalia go from this tough, confident woman who's still not completely comfortable around people, to one who's finally learning to trust others.
If this is true, I'm excited. I just hope that the writers don't make her the victim. I want to see Natalia FIGHT BACK. Beat the guy to a pulp. ...Something.
Another thing that bugs me is how they talk about her being orange all the time. Do they not understand that when you take Eva's skin color and add in the color enhancement that the production staff puts into each episode, that the color will turn out orange? asdfjkl;
I just try to stay away from the Natalia bashers as much as possible.
I didn't see it like that. I think she was pretty content with her grant and cold cases. However, this was overshadowed by that tough facade she had up.

Rob Estes of Melrose Place and Silk Stalkings fame has been hired for a multiepisode arc on CSI: Miami this season, playing a convicted felon with ties to Eva La Rue's Natalia Boa Vista.
I know exactly what you mean. It's insane how horrible the people on here can be towards Natalia. I mean... it's okay to talk about your dislike, but when you start saying things like "she sucks," that's just... ugh. Surely some of the things they say are or should be against the rules. I try not to read the "Get Rid of Boa Vista" thread, and I'll just put my faith in the mods that they're closely watching over it.

I agree that some of the posts do not always fall under the 'constructive criticism' rule. We are always mindful that it is the character being criticized, not Eva herself and everyone seems to have respected that thus far. I agree with your 'orange' comment and it has been mentioned in the thread that this is inappropriate and could possibly cause offence.
I think most of the posts are of a humourous nature and most people don't mean to cause offence to her fans. It's just a thread where they can vent their frustration over a character they dislike.

It's a pretty sad song, though. If anything, it kind of makes me think of her home life. I mean... she lives in this huge house with no one, and now that the entire lab is against her... Man, it must suck.
