Mac/Stella #7- "Can't Put Out This Flame!"

That? Was the best thing ever. I've always been a reluctant Mac/Stella shipper, and that moment made me so so so happy. I'm sorry, but Peyton who?

Speaking of, does anybody get the feeling that this might cause problems for the Mac/Peyton relationship? Mac can't tell her about Stella's problems, and what if Peyton notices that Mac and Stella are getting this close and starts questioning Mac about it? Things get tense... they can't keep Claire Forlani around forever.
 
Yeah I can totally see this causing issues...I know if I were in Peyton's shoes I'd have issues with it...my man so clearly in love with someone else and comforting them and not telling me what was going on...I'd be very surprised if it didn't cause issues! Especially since Peyton's already had Mac refuse her for Stella (the hand on the face thing!)...here's hoping! ;)
 
I can see it causing problems. I think a friendship (and possibly more, of course ;)) as close as Mac and Stella's is always going to have some kind of effect on their relationships with others. I imagine Peyton's probably quiet intimidated by Stella already, and the fact that Mac's going to be putting her first again is going to upset her. Plus, he's just started being open and honest with her, but this is something he's not going to tell her about. When she's finds out, I expect this to cause major issues.

Sounds like a great scenario! If it does go that way, I hope they'll be low-key and subtle about it. And very true about Forlani, whereas Mac and Stella are canon :p

And yes, Mo! If ONLY! :D

Very interesting points, Ali. Do we have any spoilers if the others would know about Stella's dilemma? I doubt if Mac will tell Peyton. I think Sid will zip his lip as well.

Problems with Peyton??Hard,but not something that can't and won't happen!.. :p..And I am not really sure that I'd like to see Peyton just fine with and trying to help Stella about it..She isn't her frined,from what they have shown us and the team even know.[right? :confused:]..But,a fight between them about Stella,is something interesting to watch..'

Lol, actually, it's about time these TPTB put Mac in this very position. Torn between two women: one he loves and his girlfriend; the other he also loves and cares about a lot who is his best-est friend. Sure, Mac tells Peyton that him and Stella are professional, are co-workers and friends and that's that. But a girl always knows when something's up, right? This may either lead to a confrontation between Peyton and Mac -- or better yet, Peyton and Stella. Or the writers will forget about it again...

"I'm here for you, you know that right?"

This very line should be up there with them "You had me at hello" and "I'm just a girl standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her" kind of lines.

In The Ride in, I was so happy when Mac and Stella hugged that I literally jumped out of my seat, those two are hot together and Mac was so sweet.
 
S: It just happened. I was putting a piece of glass in the evidence bag. It just broke and cut me. I had no idea at that time that (victim's name) was HIV positive

M: Stella why didn't you tell me?

S: I thought I could handle it on my own. I'm scared Mac. I know there are a lot of people living with AIDS I just...I don't think I have the strength to do that. I don't think I'm brave enough to wait for a cure.

M: What is it you say to me? (speaks Greek) You always have the strength, you always have the guts.

M: If you need to leave work, take some time...

S: No...I took a blood test it came back negative. I'm still in that window. I won't know for sure if I'm HIV positive...10 weeks. Right now the only thing that's keeping me sane is work.
