It was posted some time ago inside the Spoiler Discussion thread and i think we posted it in our previous as well. It was a "Fall preview" vid. Some people later said they couldn't watch it anymore (It was in youtube) The voice off said "Later in this season there is a major conflict between Mac and Stella" and you could watch scenes from 5.06 and the argument scene. Gary was so funny moving all his arms trying to be angry (it's against the Mother Nature as well. He is the sweetest thing . Melina also was with her script in her hands during the rehealsal
He's always cute. I love his scenes with Mac and Stella, mostly they are the naughty kid scenarios... But the paper plane on was the cutest... However, I'd love to see Mac and Stella with their own little kid... Their kids would be gorgeous. :adore:
I think Mac did love his Claire very much, BUT not enough to stop him from making a mistake to kiss the redhead. :angryrazz: And, I think he didn't felt guilty for Claire's death, he felt helpless and powerless.
I think you finally describe Mac's feelings in such perfect way dear!!!! Being "The Boss" "The Head" of the lab and being powerless to save her. And you are right, he loved Claire but not so much as he thinks. He NEVER would have kissed another woman. It was OCC for Mac from these horrid writers because he has a strict moral code and i don't think he would do such a thing. I know he is human and he has faults because it is a human condition but i felt that storyline was forced. As forced as keeping Mac and Stella apart grrrr

I really hope EP think of the crap they did with their relationship..because if they don't change something I don't know how long the weird situation between Mac and Stella can be solved after all...
i do understand they want to keep them apart a little longer. But i CAN NOT understand why on Earth the writers want to destroy the jewel of the show: the purest relationship they share. I'm very AGAINST this. But if they tell me: we want some tension between them because we don't want to add more girlfriends/boyfriends to the show, well that would be a different story

I don't understand why people question if Stella love-loves Adam. We all know she cares for him ass a great friend. It's amazing how people think people of the opposite sex can't be friends. Not that you guys are saying that.
Right now, I would say that I can't wait for Wednesday to get here, but since i live herein he US, I can. Election Day is coming and I am terrified. Just pray that we choose a president that won't lead us towards communism- (i.e. the thing that has killed 100 million people.) I would like to keep my freedom and half my paycheck.

I think he sees her like his big sister or something... Dunno, that's just my thoughts... Oh gosh, I'm just dying to see how it's going to be played out, I can't wait to Thursday to see the ep.
Oh, and I'm not sure if you ladies have seen this, but there was another 100th ep celebration thingy, meaning more pics of Gary and Melina... They look so cute together as they always do, and I simply love Melina's dress. :adore:

I have male friends and a lot of people couldn't believe it so i understand what you are saying Besides because of the age it would be impossible, well not impossible but...well you undertand. Also, as many other people said the dynamic said: This is Mum, this is Dad and this is their kid. EXACTLY as it happened last year with Reed. Any relationship between "mum" and the "Kid" beyond a motherhood type bond it's just too sick to describe in words. So i hope Adam will be there to comfort Mum or Mum to confort her kid and the kid will try to reunite their parents

I agree. Adam and Stella have a close relationship, but I think it's just friendship. Stella will listen to him when he needs someone to listen too and I'm sure he'd do the same thing.

i don't think he has any problem having a relationship with a co worker. But maybe he does have fear of being in love again. he doesn't know he is already lost. he is madly in love with Stell He needs time to figure out his feelings. And i think Stella needs it too

Mac said both Stella and he are not good at dealing with these things. I doubt they would move on without help. We are so convinced they were eventually come to their senses in S4. But now? *sigh* My only hope is the TPTB is intentionally disappointed us, then give us something really good later.
For those who asked, my birthday is November 11 - next Tuesday! But I actually really don't know what the present is now though. Lol. Grrr.
And those pics are amazing! I also get angry about people always assuming there is a romance between men and women - THEY CAN BE FRIENDS. :brickwall: Gary and Melina are the best example of that. They're obviously so close and they work together every day but obviously nothing is going on. And that's good! It's good for people to be just friends! not everything is about romance or ... doing something more. lol.

Adam, Mac and Stella are really like a family in the lab family...ok maybe Adam has a secret crush on her ( that scene in the last ep was hilarious..:guffaw but he knows, as a good son that Stella belongs to Mac...and EP should also get that!!:scream: kikii + Debbie: I agree with both of you. On one hand Mac is a VERY professional man for whom his job is almost everything (and I think he'd to everything to brotect his job and the one of his co-workers..) but he also cares a lot for other people (ok ok he's weird recently :scream::scream he knows that he's madly in love with Stel and he couldn't afford hurting her in any way...that's why I think he'd maybe risk a little bit of his job to approach Stella....
Mac told Reed that Claire was a woman who would pursue whatever she wanted until she got it. I think she would very protective of what belong to her. She would respect Stella as Mac's best friend and partner but at the same time made it very clear who Mrs. Taylor was. On the other hand, Stella might loved Mac secretly but she knew her position in his life.
I like your view, shell kiki! I suppose it all does depend on how well Stella and Claire knew each other (Mac may have chosen to keep his work and home life very separate, considering how dangerous and unpleasant his job can be) and on what Stella's feelings toward Mac were. That Stella had no clue who 'Claire Conrad' was or about Reed, suggests she and Claire weren't best friends though. But of course it's possible Claire never told her either of those things, even if they were close.
About Mac and Claire, I think Mac loved Claire very much. I hated the story with Quinn because it struck me as being totally OOC for Mac. The only thing I can think is, maybe Mac and Claire were having marital problems at that time? Stella wasn't in Mac's life at that time, (she didn't know Quinn) so Mac had no best friend to confide in, and so he did something stupid and acted OOC. People do that. For all we know, maybe Claire kissed someone else, and Mac found out. Not that that justifies what he did, and kissing Quinn is totally OOC for Mac, but there are two sides to every story. It did sound like it was Quinn who initiated the kiss, evidently knowing well how much Mac loved his wife. Now, that doesn't make it all Quinn's fault, Mac did kiss her back, but again it does show there are 2 sides to every story. Mac made a stupid mistake, but I still think he loved Claire very much - yes, he kissed Quinn, but he didn't sleep with her. A kiss is still a betrayal, but not as big a one as sleeping with someone.
I do find it interesting that the second time Quinn offered herself to Mac, he refused. Presumably because he's in love with Stella. I don't think this means he loves Stella more than he loved Claire, and I don't think he loved Claire more than he loves Stella. I think he loves them in different ways. Claire was his 'first' true love, the woman he spent a considerable period of his life with, the woman who will always have part of his heart. Stella is the woman he fell in love with when he thought he would never love again, the woman who has been his rock since he lost Claire, the woman who got him through his pain, and has been the voice of reason and support in his life, his best friend who one day suddenly became so much more to him. So he loves Claire and Stella in very different ways. He made a terrible mistake with Quinn (one he probably feels even worse about now Claire is gone) a mistake that maybe messed up his and Claire's marriage for a while (no matter how much he loved her, all marriages go through tough periods) and he is not going to make the same mistake with his new love Stella.
I think the Quinn storyline also shows the difference between Stella and Quinn, even if Stella had a thing for Mac when he was married, she wouldn't have made a move on him.
I like the idea that Adam's asking Stella out for pizza is him trying to make things right for him. In Mac and Stella's fight, Stella may be the Voice of Reason, but Adam might be a bit hurt that she suggested letting him go, even if just for a short while so she can find another way to save him. And Stella might feel guilty at having to say such a thing, even though it is the reasonable thing to say. She may feel Adam 'blames' her for almost losing his job, if Mac takes her advice and lets him go. I think in this fight, both Mac and Stella are both right in some ways, and wrong in others. I love Mac's loyalty to his team and determination to keep Adam, and I think Stella is the Voice of Reason when she says they can find another way to keep the machines and Adam. But Mac is wrong to not be able to see there are other ways to do that, and to question Stella's loyalty. But Stella's POV can seem rather hard at first, even if she says she loves Adam. I must say, I don't like the OOC way they are writing Mac and Stella lately. Mac would never question Stella's loyalty, and this hard attitude Stella has towards the whole Adam issue (yes, she's reasonable, but she seems to be putting machines first 'we need the machines' is very Un-Stella like). And the whole stiffness and coldness towards each other is odd too. They seem constantly angry or cold towards each other, and it's just unnatural. And Stella hiding something big from Mac? Unnatural.
If Stella does get hurt or disappers, I think both Mac and Stella will learn a valuable lesson. Mac will learn to swallow his words 'she's tough' but Stella will learn to stop acting that way, acting like she's tough and doesn't need anyone, even Mac. I love Rambo Stella, but sometimes I think Stella tries to hard to act tough. She did it after Frankie, and she did it after the fire when she turned down Mac's offer of a room. I admire her independence, but sometimes I think she needs to admit she has weaknesses and needs help just like everyone else. In The Ride In she did that - admitting she couldn't cope with maybe having AIDs alone. So if she does end up in danger from whatever secret she's keeping from Mac, both will learn that they need each other and neither are as tough as both they as individuals like to think, and as they both think the other one is. With the whole 'she's tough' thing, I don't think Mac is entirely to blame, Stella is also, because like I said, she acts too tough some of the time. Just like Mac does, actually, like he did in s4 when he hid the bloody t-shirt from her. Hehe, both of them can be way too stubborn sometimes, they're so alike in both their good and bad qualities sometimes, it's funny and quite cute

I agree, that scene when Adam talked about his father being a bully, made me so upset... *Snuggles Adam* I just wanted to go and give him a big ol' hug... *Not that that's anything new.* I think that Stella cares about Adam deeply and like you said, would be willing to listen to him... I've love to see his past being delved into... But that could be a little too much continuity for TPTB... I think that he feels that Stella is someone he can confide in, I think that the whole issue of Stella saying Mac should let him go will blow over quickly, and even though he may be hurt by it at first, he'll get over it, and they'll go back to being friends...
