Sofia is business. If you recall in the interview scene, she stands tall and proud, her hands on her hips. She makes sure she taps her shiny badge. She is saying loud and clear without words don't mess with me. I will take you down fast and furious.
Sofia is brains. Why did she go along with Brass? Because she knew if using her body would crack the suspect into admitting the crime then it's worth flaunting your body. Besides Brass would never ask her to do something that would be considered questionable. I also love the fact that in Formalites using her talk out loud while processing a scene got Grissom's attention. Later we see him trying out the new technique for himself. So she influences people to try new things.
Sofia is a beautiful blonde. Just completes the package. She can kick ass and look sexy and hot at the same time. What man (or woman for that fact)isn't going to notice her physically. Being strong and independent is one of the sexiest qualities about her. There is not doubt she turns heads and there is nothing wrong with being noticed in that way. Not only that she was unable to unnerve Grissom at a crime scene in Formalities..first time I have ever seen him that distracted during going over a scene. Even Warrick is caught eyeing her in Mea Culpa from the hallway.
Sofia is bold. Loved the scene in "No Humans Involved" when she takes off chasing the evidence right during the gun fight scene. That shows she goes above and beyond to get the bad guy. Another great example is she showed us she is not afraid to stand up to Ecklie in "Mea Culpa". Now that shows her loyalty to the job and her co-workers.
Sofia is brave. "A Bullet Runs Through It" was an excellent example of this quality. There was no hestiation as she jumped out of the car and started shooting. She took off down the alley after the perps and she had no vest on and put her life on the line to protect others without as second thought. Then I found it even more impressive that she stood up to the fact that she may have been the shooter of Bell. She doesn't back down in any situation. That makes her so respectable and honorable.
Sofia is compassionate. Not only did we see this in "I Like to Watch" but also in "A Bullet Runs Through It". She of course was there for the rape victim and she did put herself on the line to by exposing her body for the victim in the hopes of catching the criminal. She also did not have to go in the ambulance with the woman but she chose to be there from the begining and see this woman through and that spoke volumes about her character. Plus in ABRTI she showed she was a true partner by sticking by Brass even after she was cleared in the shooting.
Sofia is caring and giving. Despite all she lost with he demotion after Mea Culpa she did not rag and bitch about her situation. Instead we see her reaching out and helping a new CSI Greg in "No Humans Involved". She stepped right in and did her best to fit in and get along with all the team members. She gives a 100% of herself not matter what situation she is faced with each time we see her.
Sofia is plain and simple one bright, intelligent, independent, gorgeous, blue eyed blonde, who I hope keeps Rocking CSI's world.
