04 - Great job! I love how the text is placed! The coloring is fantastic!

If I'm not mistaken, it's the first time i vote in lims... hopefully my reasons are acceptable... sometimes I find it really hard to express myself in human language...:rolleyes:

-05: It's very creative, but the cropping is still a bit oddly placed and is a bit distracting, I'm not sure where to look.
-06: The background lighting covers part of Alexx's face.

-04: The arrangement of everything is well-put together. It's all clear, and the the dotted part adds a nice touch, bringing everything in. Lovely colouring as well!

Ack, I was stuck between a couple but everyone did a wonderful job. :)

# 5: The crop is a bit distracting.
# 4: Alexx looks a bit pale and because of the light jacket she kinda fades into the backgroud. It's too light.

Best:
# 2: Nice coloring, perfect contrast and the text is very subtle.

It was a very tough choice, but you all made nice icons! Good luck with the voting! :thumbsup:

6 - The lighting effect takes away from the overall composition of the icon. Also part of the light is invading Alexx's face.
5 - The crop is a bit too severe, the choppiness takes away from the composition.

Best:
3 - The crop is very nice and the simplicity of the overall icon is wonderful. The text is positioned just right so it doesn't take away from the subject. Great job!

6 - erm I have to say I actually like the idea of the effect you were creating but the blending seems to "eat up" Alexx's face...and I'm wasn't too sure where to look when I saw the icon...
5 - I really really like the idea and its very creative but the cropping seems too severe...

4- I love the brush you used, the crop is fantastic and the simple colouring brings the icon together nicely...great job!!

Eeew! this was indeed a very hard round to vote for...Kudos to you all, you did an amazing job!!

05 - too busy and if i'm not wrong there is a typo (should be 'adieu', not 'adeiu')
03 - too ... average.

6: The light part of the icon near the centre destracts you from the images of Alex
5: I think that the crop is a too much ;)

4: I adore the simplicity of haveing the plain background with the dots :D And the font is well chosen ;)

03-It's too plain and the text just doesn't match the icon.

I love how it's fragmented and the colour's so saturated it's really vibrant.

Least:
4 the choice of pic and text don't seem appropriate and the image doesn't seem blurry or sharp
2 Isn't cropped tightly enough

Gosh, you really want us to vote for least quality? This is so hard, all icons are awesome, so I had to search for reasons...

#5: it's a great idea, but it seems a bit over-cropped (does this word even exist?) and that's distracting too much
#6: again a great idea, and awesome work with the fading text, but the blending of Alexx is done a bit "scruffy", like some others said before: the light covers too much of Alexx face

Best:

#4: what else can I say but PERFECT! Picture choice, cropping, brush(or texture) work = love it :)

05 - I like the idea but the result is a bit distracting. You don't know where to look.
06 - I LOVE Alexx on the left side! But as the others said before, the light in the center covers too much of the other Alexx's face and makes it hard to read the text.

01 - A bit dark but it goes well with the image and I like the glow around the text.
