Life Changing Events (Snicker RP)

Nick sighed. "Yeah, but I'm still scared....I, um never told anyone this Sara but...I guess the reason I'm so scared is because... *Tears ran down his face* because my mom almost died giving birth to me...Thats why she was so upset when she saw me buried alive." He put his head on Sara's shoulder and cried quietly.
 
Sara looked at him, her and family was a touchy subject "nothings going to happen to me Nick I promise you that much" she gazed into his eyes "I wasnt even supposed to happen I was a mistake and My father never let me forget it"
 
Cath smiled when Grissom wrapped his arm around her. She felt like they were really a couple now. She wrapped one arm around the small of his back while the other was occupied with Lindsey's hand. "So how did you like it Lindsey? Besides seeing me scared half to death." she said with a little chuckle. "We're all going to look back on that and laugh, but I was terrified." she said.

Time seemed to fly by and before they both knew it, Sara was 5 months pregnant and beginning to show more and more. Nick didnt really mind since he couldnt wait until they could feel the baby move and such. And he thought Sara was just as attractive as ever and sometimes he just couldnt take his eyes off of her.

Lindsey patted her mom on the back, "I should totally tell this to your friends. It'll be a funny story!"
Grissom couldn't help but chuckle. He was already looking back on it and smiling.

It had been a few months since Grissom reached out to Lindsey. She had warmed up to him and practically viewed him as her new father, and friend. He was pretty happy, but probably not a happy as Catherine. He could see it in her eyes - she was ecstatic that the two were finally getting along. Sometimes he stayed over at Catherine's house, and other times she spent the night at his place. That afternoon, he was relaxing at Catherine's house.
Well... maybe not relaxing.

"What do you mean they already got married?!"
Grissom glanced over at Lindsey who was currently taking the news harder than he originally thought.
"It was quite a few weeks ago. Actually, months ago. I didn't even know until they showed me their rings."
"But that's not fair! I was supposed to be at their wedding! I was going to be a bridesmaid!" Lindsey looked miserable and she angrily stomped upstairs to her room. Grissom looked over at Catherine.
"I guess I should be glad she's not shooting the messenger."
 
Nick wiped the tears from his eyes and drew Sara closer to him and his voice became a whisper. "Don't believe what your father told you, Sara. Your the farthest thing from a mistake, I swear. And I dont know what I would do without you."
 
(That would be best lol)
Catherine had her head leant against Grissom's shoulder. She sighed when Lindsey stomped up to her room. "Well, one, she'd never do that to you, and two, I wouldn't let her." she said with a smile. She let out a long sigh and cuddled up to him. "I'm just so glad that you two are getting along so well." she said, the word "marriage" wouldn't escape her mind. They had been going good since they had dated, and Lindsey seemed to be happy with it now. "What about us Grissom? Do you see me in the future?" she asked. "Do you......see me as your wife?" she asked.

Sara looked up at Nick "I dont now I love you,You make me feel so amazing" she rubs her stomach "and before now it was like she was there she exsisted" a tear rolled down her cheek "But now we know she knows who we are"
 
Grissom looked over at her, "I hope you're not just saying that because Nick and Sara are married." He gave her a little smirk.
When he saw she was serious, he straightened up and gave her words some serious thought.
"Marriage. You and me together... as husband and wife?"
He wasn't really opposed to it, he just never even considered that option. They were practically a married couple already. H knew the transiton would be easy but something in his gut said that it was a bit to soon.

No. He knew her for several years and he loved this woman. If anything, marriage should've been on his mind all along. However, this seemed like quite a daunting task to say the least.
He wouldn't just be her husband - he would be Lindsey's stepfather. That was probably what was bothering him. Lindsey's reaction. Particularly now that she was so upset over not being at Nick and Sara's wedding.

(Wonder what Sara or Nick will say when Grissom or Cath tell them about Lindsey. They got married in a little chapel and didn't even invite us! :p)
 
Nick smiled and kissed Sara's stomach, light soft kisses that he hoped their baby could feel as she moved and grew.
Then he kissed Sara sweetly on the lips and held her and they stood like that for what seemed like an eternity.
 
Sara Looked into his eyes Gazing softly "do you think she knows how much we love her?and eachother?" when she felt the child within her kick again she smirked "I take that as a yes"
 
Nick sighed happily as he gazed into Sara's eyes. "I know that she knows we love her." Then he leaned in and kissed her once again, with more passion. "And I'd be suprised if she didnt know how much we love each other."
 
Catherine was a little nervous at his response. She thought that maybe he wasn't ready for that kind of thing, and she shouldn't have pushed it. She shifted a little, unsure of what to say. "Well, yeah Gil, that's usually how it works." she said as she scooched away from him a little, not feeling totally uncomforable. She even felt a little rejected right now. What reason did he have for not marrying her, he loved her right?

(sorry for the not-so-detailed post, I have to go)
 
Sara Looked up at Nick again "I am just so happy I can honestly say I've never felt this happy Nick you've made me so happy" she frowns "but do you know Lindsey hasnt spoken to me since we got Married I think she's mad"
 
Nick frowned. "Now why would Linds be upset about us getting married? I thought she understood that we were in love...?" He looked genuinely confused.
 
Sara looks at him "I dont know I mean we did promise her that she'd be in our wedding and now We Eloped she might be upset about that" she gazed lovingly in Nicks eyes
 
Nick gazed lovingly back at Sara. "I cant believe I actually eloped." he said. "My parents always told me that when I got married they were gonna have this big wedding in Texas for me....but I wouldnt have traded this *he snakes his arm around her waist* for anything in the world."
