For the videos for the songs 'February Song' and 'You are Loved (Don't give Up)' Josh is somewhere in the desert playing a piano. I've got pics for it.

I bought the internet only edition of the CD (from Josh's site joshgroban.com) and they sent me the 'Awake' dvd as well. The CD also had additional tracks on it. There's videos on the DVD and A LOT of behind the scenes stuff. :)

And according to the album info for the CD Mike Shinoda (he is one of the lead singers for Linkin Park) wrote the lyrics for 'My December' and Josh thanks Shinoda for allowing him to sing his song.

Oh, that's interesting, I love that song. I'm going to get my hands on Josh Groban's version of 'My December', I bet its quite different (tempo wise), it will be nice to hear a different version of the song. Thank you for the info HnM. :)

By the way, a very happy birthday to you! :D

It is an awesome song. I actually heard Linkin Park sing it first and I was super excited when I heard that Josh was going to sing it. He does slow it down a bit but it's probably THE best vocal job he has done so far. Hope you get to hear it.

And thanks. I'm settling into '19' and so far its been pretty good. :D

Tink your not a Grobanite are you? ;)

Yus, Josh does some of his best vocal work in 'My December.' Still I think in his new album he has really upped his own standards. Especially in the song 'Awake.' Simply beautiful.

Actually I'd never heard of him until this thread was opened. He seems very popular, and I can't believe that other than this board I never hear of him. I may have to dig a bit deeper and listen to a few songs. I may become a Grobanite! ;)

^ ur not alone here, me too don`t have hear about JG before this thread. hope he to become popular in Europe too :D

HnM thanks a lot for all this info about my questions :) soon will have some more hehe, be patient with me

for my regret in my country we still can`t buy from the net :( (re JG new DVD ) maybe i have to dig more deeply in the net and with little luck can see some music vids of him

and not in last place one warmly weclome back on the board Hummer :D nice to see u, hope to have more free time for us here and in H/Y thread too ;)

D: WHAT? New CD?! Man, I've been stuck in the Traffic way too long. ;___;
Missing out on Grobanfandom... [Rawr].

Um, so, before I go out on a rampage to get his new CD, Anyone see the article/Interview with him from Blender?

You're welcome for the info Pusher, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have :). And welcomes back Hummer. Hope you'll be around on the boards more.

It is a shame that Josh isn't TOO widely known outside of the US. He's aware of it, no doubt, because he does intend to tour Europe more extensively this coming year. I know London is real soon. I'll try and find a list of his International tour dates.

*yays* Good to know you'll be exploring Grobania, Tinks. If ya ever need to know anything (or need resources) you know where we are. :D

Palm, good to have you back with us. I have read the article in the 'Blender' magazine and love the photograph that accompanied it cute drawing.

Gah, I was search for Josh tickets and his site say his US concerts are already SOLD OUT! Does anyone have the article that said hes Miami concert sold out in 12 minutes?

I read that his concerts here in the US are sold out too. Here in Michigan his concert (that's planned for like July) sold out in about 30 minutes back in mid-Dec. Thankfully I'm going with friends to the concert in Vegas.

And Tink (glad to hear you're gonna explore Josh) I hope you got that PM I sent you and can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. :D

Thanks for those images, Mog. I love it when Josh comes out and tells jokes/plays instruments while everyone is waiting for his band to get ready.

I think there was an bit of mention on his site about his rapid sale-out rate for 2004-05:

On the touring front, Groban started out his now legendary 40-city concert tour (which sold out in a record breaking 20 minutes) and then went straight forward to a two year arena tour across the US.

Also this was revealed the 23rd concerning who will go on tour with Josh. At the bottom of the page are his US tour dates. I'm still keeping an eye out for International dates.

Angelique Kidjo joins Josh Groban in North America.

^ Love your Joshy lower half icon.

And thanks for the info. I'm gonna have to listen to some of her music before the tour kicks off next month. Wonder what songs she was Grammy nominated for?

Also, I hope we can start back up the captioning. Josh has SO many expressions just waiting to be captioned:

kellyclarkson.jpg

(at the same time)
Kelly: Oh my god, JOSH GROBAN!
Josh: Ohm my god, KELLY CLARKSON!

XDD I like that pic. it looks like he's staring off into space or something.

Kelly: Well!? What do you think about the situation?
Josh: .... Do I smell cake?

D: 12 minutes?! ;___; I wish I was one of those insanely lucky people.

Kelly: And then I sold like a billion albums...
Josh: OMG! Chris Daughtry!

Does anyone know where the Josh article is about him singing Fallout Boy in the shower?
