It's that time again--Holiday Card Swap!

I have to buy all my cards yet, have to go to the capital because the ones here I don't like ;)

I will try to make handmade ones for a few, at least I want to, but I don't know if I'll have the time I need.
 
No, what's scary is that I just hit the high points there. I don't even list the day-to-day stuff that gets heaped on, like working an extra day per week in the Lab (again, how that happened is beyond me - I'm a sucker when my boss begs), groceries, raking leaves (UGH), cleaning out the gutters (DOUBLE UGH). Still, I got all my cards addressed (I am a huge fan of return address stickers) and I'll be hitting the post office tomorrow for Christmas stamps and WalMart paper for my special project for y'all that Top approved.

Procrastinators of the channel... getoffayerbutts before I hand over some of my to-do list. I'll start with the gutters! :devil:
 
Well I'm proud to be an overachiever. :p :D You all keep on procrastinating and I guess you will be reminded to get your butts in gear as soon as you start receiving the cards. ;)

I did five whole cards last night. I think I'll do the rest of them on Sunday while I watch the hubby paint the bedroom. Then I'll start on the other friends and family list... Wow. I never did think that Christmas cards could put me in the poor house!! :rolleyes:
 
Remember yesterday I said I've already addressed about 20 cards? Well, that number hasn't increased by a single one today. :lol: I aim to get them finished by the weekend, I'll have you know. And I'll be getting the stamps tomorrow, so that's a form of progress too. Hahaha. ;)

Er, no. :p I don't envy you that little task. But hopefully you'll get lots of nice baby gifts from it though. ;)

I know I got that feeling of needing a kick up the backside when I got home to day! Thaks for the cards Elsie and Shady :D They really cheered my boring day up but I now need to think about writing mine!!!

I was planning on doing it next week, since I have a four days College break. But well... maybe I should do it earlier... anyway, I promise to send them as soon as possible!

I hit up WalMart the other day and bought a pack of 30 cards for 3 bucks, and another pack of 20 cards for 3 bucks - not a bad steal. But, like half the other people in here - I havent even begun to actually write them out. I have, however, addressed all the envelopes - just have yet to actually, write the cards out and stick them in the envelope.... and dont even get me started on actually MAILING them... he he...

Thats right, Christmas is 25 days away...

Mrs G I am no overachiever I am a procrastinator and the last minute was invented for me but the only reason I got the ball rolling so quickly and want to send mine off already is because I'm worried about our postal service and you guys might end up getting your cards just in time for Easter!
