It's Called Cancer - LV/NY RP II

Re: It's Called Cancer

Mac got into the other side and turned the car on. He was thinking more and more about what was happening while he drove; how overwhelming, slightly scary and downright exciting it was all at the same time.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella smiled to Mac as the phone rang. She couldn't wait to tell Jess and Flack the news.
-------
Jess was busy with Flack when the phone rang. She groaned a bit and answered his phone. "Hello?"

"Jess? It's Stella, nice to talk to you again."

"Oh, hey Stella, long time no see." she said, looking down at Flack.

"What's new with you guys" Stel asked.

"Oh nothing, Flack only proposed to me, we're getting married on June third."

Stella's eyes lit up. "Oh that's great!" she said.

Jess giggled. "Yeah, I was hoping you would be my maid of honor." she asked.

"Oh well, um, see, we're going to be a little busy that day, Mac and I are getting married that day."

"OH MY GOD STELLA!" Jess squealed, with a huge smile on her face. "Stella's getting married." she said to Flack. "Congratulations! OH MY GOD do you want to have a double wedding?"

Jess smiled and laughed. "I'll have to talk to Flack about it, but I don't see why not!" she told her.

"We'll be each other's maid of honor! Brianna could be our little flower girl." she proposed to Jess.

"Brianna, who's that?" Jess asked.

"Our little girl, we're adopting a little four year old girl."

"Oh Stella, that's so sweet."

"I know, she's so cute too, so do you like the idea?"

"Alright, that sounds great Stella." Jess said. "We can go shopping tomorrow for dresses and stuff, we only have two months to do this." she told her. "This is so exciteing Stella."

"I know, well, listen sweetheart, I've got to go, but I'll talk to you later, tell Flack I said hi and congratulations."

"I will, talk to you later, bye."

"Bye." Stella said, and then shut the phone. "Mac, can we do a double wedding with Jess and Don, please?" she asked, almost begging him. "It'll be less expensive." she said, trying to get on the good side of things.

Re: It's Called Cancer

"Yeah, sure, it's fine with me" Mac replied. "Should make it even more exciting a day."

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you honey, I love you." she said with a smile. Now she was really excited.

Re: It's Called Cancer

"i love you" he replied. "We are gonna be soooo busy for a while but it'll be fun too. I couldn't be happier."

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella smiled and nodded. "Alright, we need a bed, some paint, some toys, clothes, food, we need to get to work Mac." she told him.

Re: It's Called Cancer

"Yes, and quick...we don't have a lot of off time as it is, so we have to squeeze in as much as possible when we do have it." He sighed. "And, okay, I'll put in a little less overtime at night. I don't have a choice, really. You'll kick my butt if I don't" he laughed.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella nodded. "Yeah, I'm gonna need help raising her, so you won't be working overtime at all if I have anything to say about it." she told him. "You might have to hire someone else, maybe Jess would like to take a co-supervisor position?" she suggested.

Re: It's Called Cancer

"Maybe, it's something to think about" he nodded. "She's a good cop. Although it's certainly going to be interesting with not one but two married couples around here. Not that I mind. We can work it out, I know we can."

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella smiled and nodded as they neard the store. She was glad they had brought the work truck today. "I think she'll be alright, both you and her will be the boss, so as long as Hagan doesn't find out about it, we should be fine."

Re: It's Called Cancer

"Right" he replied. Though he hated the idea of that youknowwhat finding out and yelling at them. But he didn't care what Hagan thought, only what he felt inside him.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella nodded as they pulled up to the mall's parking lot. She pointed out a parking spot and told Mac to park there. When she got out, she raced for the doors, she couldn't wait. She was glad she had her credit card too. Since she was going to be raising this little girl, she wanted her to have only the best. She didn't want to spoil her, but she wanted her to have a good, safe enviornment, and a loving falmily, along with a good education.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Mac chuckled a little, he knew women usually loved shopping. But he also knew Stella was so happy about becoming a mother. he followed her, not making any jokes this time as they went inside.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella walked inside a department store, which had exactly what they needed. She found a pink princess comforter set and a small bed that would fit perfectly in the extra room. "What color do you think Brianna likes?" she asked, heading towards a paint store after they had purchaced the bed and put it in the car along with the comforter.

Re: It's Called Cancer

"I..." Mac wound up giving a shrug. "I guess one of the colors most girls like...What do you think?" he asked her.
