It's Called Cancer - LV/NY RP II

Re: It's Called Cancer

Mac briefly slipped an arm around Stella to give her a hug, then when they were inside, he nodded returning the greeting and the handshake as Stella made introductions.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Jess rolled over on the couch. She could start to smell the dinner he was cooking. It was nice to have a man that would cook for her every once in a while. She had never been treated like this before.
-----
Jane smiled and shook Mac's hand. "He's very handsome Stella, I told you you'd make out well." she said. Stella blushed at her comment. "What brings you here?" she asked.

"Actually, Mac and I want to adopt a little one of our own."

Jane's face lit up. "Oh Stella, that's wonderful, come this way."

Stella smiled up at Mac, wrapping an arm around his back as they walked to a place she knew all too well.

"I'm lucky to have her" he said. Mac followed, slipping his arm around Stella in return as they walked.

Re: It's Called Cancer

"Talk..? About?" Danny asked curiously.

Flack was actually fairly good around the kitchen. Even though he didn't cook all that much, he could cook well. He was able to quickly buzz through making the corn and potatoes, letting those stay warm in the oven while the chicken cooked. He went out and set the table a few moments later.

Flack looked around once before wandering over to Jess, leaning down over the back of the couch and kissing her gently. "What would you like to drink?" he asked.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella smiled when he made that comment. Jane led her to the room that Stella had once stayed. There were five girls, and seven boys. They all looked so cute and lovable. She wondered over to where her bed used to be, smiling at the little girl in it. "Hi sweetie, what's your name?" she asked.

"Brianna." the little girl answered, shyly.

Stella smiled, she liked this little girl. "That's a pretty name. I'm Stella, how old are you Brianna?"

"Four." she answered.

"Well little Briana, did you know that I used to sleep in this bed?" she asked with a smile. "And that teddy over there," she said, pointing to the old worn out bear. "That little bear used to be my only friend."

Brianna just nodded. She was small; she looked skinny and had very thin, light blonde hair. She had pretty blue eyes and would no doubt be a beautiful girl when she grew up.

Stella then stood up and turned to Mac. "Isn't she cute Mac?" she said with a smile.
------
Jess smiled and gently kissed him back. "I would say some wine, but I already told you that my last glass was going to be it, so I'll just have some water." she said.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Flack gently kissed her again before standing back up straight. "Okay. Dinner will be five more minutes, so hollar if you need anything, okay?" he said before wandering back to the kitchen, finishing up.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Jess nodded, yawning and the getting up to go sit down at the table. But before she did, she took her hair out of the pony tail that it was in, letting her thick brown hair flow down her back.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Flack carried their plates out, everything dished out and cleaned up, balenced on one arm, their glasses of water in his free hand. He set the glasses down in their places before giving her her plate and then placing his on the table as well.

"I have a multi-talented finace." she said with a smile. "It looks great hun, thanks." she told him as she tried to contain from devouring the whole thing.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Flack chuckled a bit, shrugging before sitting down. "Well.. Just something I picked up through my younger years," he smirked. "Dig in."

Re: It's Called Cancer

Jess nodded and did as she was told. She ate her meal pretty fast, loving every bite. She was hungry, and she wasn't hiding that.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Flack set his own pace, eating a little bit slower. Once he tasted what he made, he frowned. "Eh.. I coulda done better," he said with a shrug.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Mac was smiling and trying to be attentive despite his limited experience with kids. He thought back to the recent case of the Bug Eaten Museum Body, and the young boy. He'd never admitted it to anyone but he'd enjoyed trying to get on the kid's level to coax information. For now, he waited for a good moment to say something and watched as Stella talked, thinking she was really good with kids.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella smiled up at Mac and then looked back down to Brianna.

"Brianna, do you want a mommy and daddy?"

Brianna nodded and smiled. "That's all I've ever wanted." she said to Stella.

Stella just smiled and brushed a piece of hair out of her eyes. "Well, what about me? Would you like me as your mommy."

Brianna nodded again. "I like you." she said simply.

Stella smiled and picked the little girl up. She then turned to Mac. "Mac, this is Brianna; Brianna, this will be your new daddy." she said with a smile.

Brianna was a little shy, so she leaned against Stella and just waved to the man she just met.

Jess shook her head. "No Don, it's really good, the chicken is really tender." she told him as she continued to eat her meal.
