It's Called Cancer - LV/NY RP II

Re: It's Called Cancer

"Stella? She's a good choice," Flack replied thoughtfully. "Not very many I'd trust more than her." He sipped his orange juice for a moment. "Now there's something to think about.. I don't know who I want to choose for my best man. Mac or Dan.. then again, there's Hawkes too."

Re: It's Called Cancer

"Well, they can always be your groomsmen." she told him as she drank her juice. "I haven't really gotten to know Lindsay, we only talked for a few minutes, but I'd like to get to know her more." she said.

Re: It's Called Cancer

"True.." Flack siad. "Lindsay is a charming girl. Sitting down with her at lunch could be an option." Flack took another sip of his orange juice. "It's unfortunate you never met Aiden.. You would have liked her.." he mumbled quietly, speaking about her in such a way as if she was an old crush.

Re: It's Called Cancer

(LOL...if this is the right game, Mac n Stella might be a tad busy getting themselves married....I sooo can't wait until she calls Jess back :) ) (and Jess, if you missed it, I replied before the downtime...you wanna repost from me?)

Re: It's Called Cancer

(please?)(Lauren, I feel like starting trouble......)
Jess glared at him. The way he was talking about Aiden was not appropriate when you are talking to the woman you are going to marry. "So, what Don, did you love her? Did you want to marry her? Why are you talking about her like that in front of me?" she asked, thinking that it was totally out of his place to tell her these things.

Mac was feeling a lot of sympathy for her as they got out; he didn't think anyone should grow up without a family. He was glad that he was able to love her so much now.

Here's my repost, Jess. Yikes that other one does sound like trouble, i hope it works out okay.

Re: It's Called Cancer

"Coffee?.. Coffee would be great, please.." Danny replied, stifling a yawn.
----
(-_-; Oh frig..)

Flack began to mentally kick himself. He looked over to Jess, having almost an icy look. "Maybe, but it was a year ago she got herself fired, and I hadn't seen her since. You tellin' me I'm not allowed to remember?" Flack asked. "One year, and the next time I see her, she's a scorched body in a car!" he then said, a little angerly, his voice cracking a bit as well.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Danny nodded. "Sure. Though, you're going to need to get up first and give me a minute. I'm a little stiff," he laughed.

Re: It's Called Cancer

(Thanks Mel! Looks like you're having a bit of fun with it too Lauren lol)
Stella stepped out of the car, taking a deep breath as she looked up at the building she knew so well. She looked over at Mac, who had walked around to her side. She then took his hand, and went in the building with him. They entered the lobby, where the receptionist knew her all too well.

"Miss Bonasera, is that you?" the old woman asked with a smile.

"Yes Auntie Jane, it's me." she said with a smile as she looked at Mac. "This is my fiancée, Mac Taylor." she said with a smile.

"I always told you you would grow up to be a wonderful young woman Stella, nice to meet you." Jane said as she extended her hand.
------------
Jess didn't like the attitude she was getting from him. "Of course you're allowed to remember Flack, but I really don't want to hear about these kinds of things, Just knowing the man that I love might even still have feelings....." Jess stopped there. She couldn't go on from there. She just looked down at the floor. Maybe he did still love that woman, and maybe he wished that she was Aiden instead of herself. Was she his second choice?

Re: It's Called Cancer

Flack set the empty glass on the ledge of the balcony, looking over to Jess. He wrapped her up in his arms, kissing her cheek. "I didn't mean it to come out like that," he whispered to her. "She was a good friend. Nothing ever happened between us.." Flack mentally kicked himself again, thinking it stupid to have said something like that.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Jess didn't say anything, she just wrapped her arms around him and cuddled herself into him. Just because they were good friends, doesn't mean that he still didn't have feelings for her, but she guessed that was something that didn't really matter anymore. She just stayed quiet and held him to her.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Flack gently kissed her cheek again, one hand rubbing up and down her back. "We okay?" he asked quietly, angling his head to look at her for a moment before hugging her tightly to him. Sure, once apon a time he had feelings for Aiden, but they never progressed into anything. Once Aiden left, Flack eventually lost interest for good, even though that case still hit him hard.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Jess swallowed hard and then nodded. She was just glad that she had him, and no one else. At least she hoped there was no one else. She sighed and hugged him close, never wanting to let him go. "It just scared me. I thought maybe you still had feelings for her, and that you would rather be with her instead of me." she said.
