It's Called Cancer - LV/NY RP II

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella giggled at how he was gazing at her. "Come on loverboy, get up." she said.

Re: It's Called Cancer

"I am, I am" he replied. "But don't think I won't let 'loverboy' out to play some more later, tonight" he laughed.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Flack laughed and moved away with her push. He grabbed his coat, keys and wallet before slipping on his shoes. "Okay, be back in a few," he said, giving her one last kiss before slipping out and going to his car. Flack went over in his mind of where he had to go as he pulled into the street, deciding to go to a local jeweler's store first.

When Flack found the store he wanted, he spent a good half an hour, or forty-five minutes looking around for a ring. When he found the one he wanted, he pointed to it and asked to buy it.

"You must really love the woman, don't you?" the jeweler asked.

Flack just grinned ear-to-ear and nodded, giving up his debit card and paying for the ring. When he left the store, he slipped the small, dark blue, velvet box into his pocket. He soon headed out to his friends place to pick up that tenor. Flack was running off a business card, trying to find Arbutus Music, that taking about twenty minutes to actually find the place. When Flack wandered inside the music store, he took a look around at the different instruments on display and amps, tempted to go look at a few guitars, but he pushed that aside.

"Zack! Where's the sax you promised me?" Flack called with a laugh, seeing a man with light, sandy hair coming from the back with a large case in hand.

"Right here. Need you to sign here and here and then fork over two C notes," Zack replied with a grin. In all honesty, it was a damn good deal.

Flack was almost glad he'd saved up some money for a little while, today finding it come in use. Flack signed the papers, paid for the sax along with a box of reeds and cork grease. It was just soon after that he was on his way home again. All in all, it was only a couple hours. About two and a half to go out and get back in total.

(..Nearly wrote a short fanfic)

Re: It's Called Cancer

Stella smirked and glared at him. "We'll see." she said with a grin as she walked out of the door to go to the bathroom.
-------
Jess spent her time at home just looking out to the park. She swore she could spend her whole life looking out at that view. It was so beautiful, and she saw a new couple falling in love everyday. It brought her mind back to Flack. When she first saw him, she just thought that he was another one of those guys who would just take advantage of her and then leave her to fend for herself, but she was very very wrong.

She had never fallen so deep in love. The first man she ever loved, did exactly what all the other men had done to her, just kicked her to the curb. They couldn't even compare to Flack. He was a kind, caring man, and he loved her for who she was, not what she had to offer. She was glad that she was carrying his child, she couldn't think of anyone else to have it with.

She sat down in the chair on the patio, staring out to the big bright city that was New York. She was right in the heart of it. She never once thought that she would actually live here. She loved it though, especially this view. She loved the view that the city had to offer, especially at night, that's when things really got romantic.

It was about thee o clock when Jess found herself snapping out of her trans. She started to lightly hum to "The Reason" by Celine Dion. He was the reson that she woke up every night, and slept every night. He came out of her dream and made it real. He was the reason for living her life.

Re: It's Called Cancer

When Flack arrived home, he stepped inside, slipping off his shoes and taking the semi-large tenor case to a space in the living room, setting it down. When he stood back up again he walked over to the sliding doors of the patio and opened them with a grin. "I'm back.." he told her with a smile. He soon joined her outside, taking the empty chair on the patio. "Hope I didn't keep you too long."

Re: It's Called Cancer

Jess shook her head. "I got lost in the beautiful view out here, I hope it gets dark soon so that I can look up at the stars." she said as she watched the sun set.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Flack smiled a bit. "Half an hour more, I think," he replied. "Jess.. When I was out earlier today, something hit me. But I need a truthful answer on this, okay?" Flack's expression was serious, his eyes piercing under the light.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Jess turned to him and nodded. "Sure Flack, what is it?" she asked him, gazing into his blue lazers of eyes.

Re: It's Called Cancer

(*tries to keep a straight face* "Blue lazers of hottness")

Flack stood up and moved in front of her before kneeling down onto one knee. "I was hoping to have done this earlier, but work got in the way," he chuckled, removing the small velvet box to open it and reveal a ring. "Jessica, will you marry me?" he asked, having a soft smile come to his lips.

Re: It's Called Cancer

(Yeah, that's where I got it from, and wow, that's pretty.)
Jessie was floored. She hadn't expected this. She immidiatly hopped up out of the chair and covered her mouth with one hand. She looked down at him, at a loss for words. All she could do was smile and nod at him. "Yes." she squeaked.

Re: It's Called Cancer

(Merci ^_^)

Flack tried to keep the grin from spreading across his face as he stood. Removing the ring from the box, he gently took her left hand and slipped the engagement ring onto her ring finger. When he couldn't hold back any longer, he broke out into a full smile, wrapping her up in his arms.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Jessie smiled big as he put the ring on her finger. She wrapped her arms around him as well, crying a bit from the joy she was feeling. "I love you so much." she said as she hugged him tight.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Flack wrapped her up tightly in his arms, kissing her cheek. "I love you too," he replied, making his hug into a bear hug before slowly loosening his arms to a comfortable hold.

Re: It's Called Cancer

Jess couldn't stop smiling. This was the greatest day of her life by far. "I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together." she told him.
