"You sure?" Flack asked, tilting his head to the side, a slightly worried look on his visage. "I'm dead sure Mac'll understand if I explain," he told her. "It won't be a problem."

Jess shrugged. "It's totally up to you honey, if you feel more comfortable staying home then stay home." she said. "I won't object to you staying home, I like spending time with you." she told him.

Flack smiled a bit. "I'm going to call in.." he told her before reaching over and picking up the cordless phone. He thought about calling Mac but instead called Stella, listening as the line rang.

Jess smiled and turned back around, not bothering to finish with the lunch she had started to put together. She was happy to get some time alone, just her and her love.

Stella was right in the middle of kissing Mac when Flack called her. "Damnit." she said as he rolled over, not bothering to look at the ID. "Bonasera." she said into the phone, kissing Mac softly.

Flack smirked. "Hey Stel, it's me.. Stop smoochin' Mac for a second, I have some news," he told her, looking at Jess with a smile. "I'm not going to be in today, I'm going to be spending my time home with my girlfriend. Jess had a bout of morning sickness this morning." Flack waited for a moment. They hadn't told anyone other than Hawkes and Jane that they were going to have a baby, so he wondered what Stella would say.

Stella's eye's widened when he hit the nail on the head. She then sat up, wondering what he was talking about. "You mean that girl from the ball? I didn't know you were with her and why does she--" Then it hit her. "FLACK, is she PREGNANT?" she screamed, a smile spreading across her face, then worry and doubt. "Wait, are you marrying her? Do you love her? Does she even live with you?" she asked.

Flack laughed when Stella started asking questions, he stepped out of the kitchen for a moment. "Stel, calm down.. Yes, I'm seriously concidering it, yes and yes.." he said with a smile, hoping Jess hadn't caught on. "Any more questions, or have you nearly given Mac a heart attack with your screaming?"

Stella looked down at Mac's facial expression. "He's just a little confused." she said with a laugh. "Congratulations Flack! I can't believe you're going to be a father, and a husband. When are you going to propose?" she asked, totally intrested in his relationship with her now.

"Soon.. Soon enough," Flack replied, looking out his patio window for a moment. "I'm supprised Hawkes or Jane hadn't told you, really. They were both there when I got the news." Flack laughed a bit. Usually news travelled around the lab. Fast. "Well.. Explain to Mac for me ah? And say hello."

"Sure." Stella said with a smile. "Call me after you propose, I want to hear what she says, although I'm sure it will be yes." she said as she looked at Mac.

Mac was about to say yes but the phone rang. He didn't like the interruption but tried to be patient. He listened with a bit of confusion to the conversation as he waited for Stella to finish. "What was that...I did hear right, didn't I? That Flack's going to be a father?" he said. "Hey, in that case, maybe we should get back to buisness and try to catch up if you get my drift" He laughed. "Kidding...but I'm anxious to get back to it anyway. And yes, I like it...I think you look wonderful in whatever you put on. Or don't" He laughed harder.

"Yep, I'll do that. Please tell Mac I won't be in. Merci, et au revoir," Flack replied before removing the phone from his ear and hitting the end button. He returned to the kitchen, smiling at Jess. "Well.. Stella sounded quite pleasantly supprised," Flack said with a small laugh. "Though, I don't think Mac was impressed I interrupted their 'moment'."

Jess laughed a bit. "Those two huh? I could have seen that one coming from a mile away." she said with a smile as she walked up to him. "I'm glad you're staying home, I miss you everyday." she said as she wrapped her arms around him.

Stella smirked and nodded. She then laughed at his second comment. "Well, I like you better with nothing on, so let's do that." she said as she stripped him of the rest of his clothing.
